Heyberry House enjoys a pleasant location, surrounded by Birkenhead Park. The home provides residential and dementia care for up to 41 customers in homely and comfortable single ensuite rooms and continues to welcome new residents.

The staff are dedicated to working closely with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans for each individual, ensuring their needs are constantly met. Dementia care is available at Heyberry House, where staff are given on-going training to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

The home has an extensive activities programme which is designed to encompass the interests of all residents.

Heyberry House is operated by Anchor. They strive to raise standards and expectations by reinvesting money made back into its retirement properties and care homes.

My mum has been a resident since February 2018. have nothing but praise for the care and genuine support provided by all the staff. Mum is happy, she says she feels safe and she has made some new friends. The COVID situation has put additional pressure on the management to maintain standards, they
are truly professional. My mum would not have survived the lockdown had she not been living at Heyberry. I cannot praise them enough.

I have found Heyberry House to be a very warm and friendly care home. The staff are always helpful and the care they give my dad is excellent. He came to the home in November 2018 and he has been made welcome from the start.
I would recommend this place to people seeking full-time care.

My mother was a resident from September 2017 to her death in March 2019. My first impression was a caring, happy and vibrant home and that remained with me until my mum passed away. All staff are dedicated and very caring and my mum was lovingly cared for and looked after. I never worried about her
care and safety and always had peace of mind. All staff are approachable and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Heyberry House is a very caring home, the food is excellent. After viewing quite a few residential homes Heyberry House ticked all the correct boxes. My sister has the best care. Most residents who visit the lounge are always chatting to each other and seem quite happy.

My mum has been a resident for over a year. She is extremely happy at Heyberry House. She loves her little flat, the staff are always cheerful and helpful. The food is lovely and she looks forward to meal times. The onsite visits from hairdresser and chiropodist are so important. Even though she doesn't
like to socialise too much, there are activities organised. We have been very happy with her care here.

Experience of Heyberry House has been excellent. Management are approachable and go out of their way to support resident/family, nothing is too much trouble! Staff are caring and passionate about their work and show the greatest respect to residents. The home has a lovely relaxed, happy atmosphere.
I feel my father is cared for, safe and very well looked after in the home. I would recommend Heyberry House with the highest regard and level of care/treatment to anyone seeking a care provider.

My mum had been living with me. She would be alone while I was working, since being at Heyberry House she has good company through the day from residents and staff. The staff are faultless. They are always there to take care of the residents with a smile. Heyberry House is spotlessly clean, my mum's
room the same. The food my mum says, first class. I cannot praise the staff enough. I would thoroughly recommend Heyberry House to anyone who needs to bring a relative into care.

Mum has been in this home for 5months. Staff are very kind, caring and we are (all the family) very glad that she is here and looked after so well. You can visit anytime you want and all the staff are friendly and you can talk to them anytime.
They arrange for any doctors or dentist appointments etc...

The staff are really kind and have made Mum feel settled and at home.
Mum loves the food and eats well now. There are regular activities and opportunities to socialise.
The grounds are lovely and we can sit outside or take Mum into Birkenhead Park easily on a nice day.

My family are delighted with mum's care. She seems happy and alert and really loves the care staff who treat her as if she were her own grandmother. I live in Ireland and whenever I visit each month I am made so welcome as are all the rest of the family who is very happy with the treats that were given.
We feel that all of mum's needs both emotional and physical are attended to, staff are always willing to listen to and concerns we may have and will always involve us in any treatment she is having.

My mum was in Heyberry House for 3 years. The staff were very good to her, nothing was too much trouble. The food was of a good standard and her room was bright and well furnished. There were plenty of things to amuse her if she wanted to do something like bingo, chair exercises etc. I would be
happy to recommend Heyberry House, and have already introduced my mother-in-law to Heyberry.

Staff at all levels are well trained, pleasant, kind and happy and always willing. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. The choice of activities is good and varied.
The communal areas are light and comfortable. The gardens are well tendered, beautiful flowers and plants, seating and tables with parasols
and constant supply of cool drinks in warm weather.
The restaurant is nicely arranged, with attractive table settings and the food and the variety of dishes is very good, with several choices at each meal.
Residents rooms are bright and comfortable and well maintained.
My sister in law is very happy and contented.

I think that the service offered is excellent. I feel that my relative is well looked after and supported in maintaining her independence. Staff support her well in maintaining her activities of daily living.
I also feel that the staff involve family and carers in service users care. They ensure relatives
are informed of and kept involved in service users care. There is a real sense of community within the house and myself and my family have peace of mind, knowing she is well looked after.
