The staff are really kind and have made Mum feel settled and at home.
Mum loves the food and eats well now. There are regular activities and opportunities to socialise.
The grounds are lovely and we can sit outside or take Mum into Birkenhead Park easily on a nice day.

I am delighted with Heyberry House and highly recommend it.

My family are delighted with mum's care. She seems happy and alert and really loves the care staff who treat her as if she were her own grandmother. I live in Ireland and whenever I visit each month I am made so welcome as are all the rest of the family who is very happy with the treats that were given. We feel that all of mum's needs both emotional and physical are attended to, staff are always willing to listen to and concerns we may have and will always involve us in any treatment she is having.

My aunt has been a resident in the above care home since September 2008 and is now approaching her 108th birthday.

I am extremely grateful for the outstandingly good care she has received during her stay. During the nine years, she has been in Heyberry House, she has always been given efficient, kind and loving care from all members of staff. I too have always been given consideration and support.

My mum was in Heyberry House for 3 years. The staff were very good to her, nothing was too much trouble. The food was of a good standard and her room was bright and well furnished. There were plenty of things to amuse her if she wanted to do something like bingo, chair exercises etc. I would be happy to recommend Heyberry House, and have already introduced my mother-in-law to Heyberry.

Staff at all levels are well trained, pleasant, kind and happy and always willing. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. The choice of activities is good and varied.
The communal areas are light and comfortable. The gardens are well tendered, beautiful flowers and plants, seating and tables with parasols and constant supply of cool drinks in warm weather.
The restaurant is nicely arranged, with attractive table settings and the food and the variety of dishes is very good, with several choices at each meal.
Residents rooms are bright and comfortable and well maintained.

My sister in law is very happy and contented.

I think that the service offered is excellent. I feel that my relative is well looked after and supported in maintaining her independence. Staff support her well in maintaining her activities of daily living.

I also feel that the staff involve family and carers in service users care. They ensure relatives are informed of and kept involved in service users care. There is a real sense of community within the house and myself and my family have peace of mind, knowing she is well looked after.

After 7 months of my husband being a resident in Heyberry House. I am happy generally with the care he is receiving by the staff. I am particularly pleased with the kind of professional help my husband has received due to his stoma.

A constructive suggestion would maybe to provide families initially with relevant info regarding putting a loved one into a care home. Including money matters, electoral roll or helpful telephone numbers.

My father came to Heyberry House in August 2016 as he was no longer able to stay in his own home.

The staff have all been very caring, helpful and cheerful under the circumstances. It can't be easy to cater for the needs of elderly people but they all manage very well.

The family feel very lucky that we found such a lovely home for our father.

My dad stayed here for a fortnight's respite while we were away on holiday, he enjoyed every minute of it. The people who work here do an excellent job and made dad's stay a very enjoyable one. I would highly recommend Heyberry House and would not hesitate to bring Dad here again.

Unfortunately my fathers stay was short due to death. Nevertheless, the staff managed what proved to be a difficult period. From the moment my sister and I viewed Heyberry we knew it was the home we wanted our father to be in.

The calm and respectful manner in which the staff interacted with the residents gave us every confidence he would be well cared for. We were always warmly greeted and updated in our fathers progress. The care manager exceeded our expectations in providing feedback and support during an emotional and difficult time for the family and always had the best interest of our father at heart.
