Astbury Lodge felt like a home rather than a care facility from my mother's admission. The decor and furnishings were comfortable and homely, the staff welcoming and friendly, giving a family feel to the care home. Mum was treated with kindness, respect and dignity, and as a family we were always listened to and informed about any issues. The professionalism of the staff was evident. Thank you for looking after Mum for four years.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are grateful to know that your mum was satisfied with her tailored care at Astbury Lodge. Thank you for trusting us with your mum's care,
I think it is a very nice home with a lot of activities for patients to do.

Lovely care home. Staff all very friendly, would like more activities (mum) as singers occasionally, and mum gets bored during the day. Lovely clean home and food also good. Would be perfect if a few more varied activities throughout the week and something on the weekends.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We always every feedback seriously and try taking reasonable actions. Thank you again for trusting us with your mum's care.
Mum came into Astbury Lodge in September 2025 for respite and is now a resident, having spent most of 2025 in hospital. She enjoys the company and activities and she has made lots of new friends. Family are happy with mum being a resident as she has care 24/7 and know if she needs medical attention the doctors are only next door.
Thank you for your kind words. It is great to know that your mum is now well settled at Astbury Lodge. We will surely pass your lovely review to our team.

Staff are amazing, patience of a saint .They know every resident by name and treat them all with the utmost respect. They are always smiling and happy in their work. The meals are fantastic with plenty of snacks and drinks in between, when the weather is hot, they provide ice lollies and jugs of juice around the rooms. I couldn't of put my Husband in a better care home.

Astbury Lodge is such a professional and genuinely caring place. I am very impressed with the management and the care staff. So much better than a previous placement my sister had. There is always plenty of staff on the floor and someone to talk to for updates. I get regular updates on how my sister is doing without having to ask. The staff are all experienced and several have worked in different care settings, so are very knowledgeable with dementia patients.
Thank you for sharing your kind sentiments. Our home team always strives to maintain a high-quality care at all times. We are grateful to know that you are happy with your sister's tailored care at Astbury Lodge and will pass your message onto the team.
