I have been a happy resident of Crabwall Hall care home for four and a half years with no wish to move elsewhere. We have en suite rooms cleaned daily and an excellent laundry. Assisted baths are given twice weekly and visiting. Meals are served in an attractive dining room with much choice appreciated by the residents. Activities include quizzes, games and relatives and friends all welcomed. Our carers are excellent, cheerful well trained unflappable and kind. The home is managed by an excellent team organiser , full of ideas and always approachable. Crabwell Hall is a fine home.

Any problems we have seem to be a nuisance. Getting a light to work in her bathroom has taken weeks. She has had a fall, is this a result of lack of lighting in the bathroom! she doesn't like the new food regime as we have heard from other residents. We want her to be happy and content.

It came up to all my expectations so much so that I am staying on for another week. An extremely pleasant, warm, approachable home setting in a fantastic rural situation but so close to the city centre and amenities. Staff, from the moment of entering the building are very welcoming and extremely helpful and appear enthusiastic to be working here. The atmosphere and characteristics of the home are delightful and homely, doesn't resemble a typical care home. My resident has settled nicely and like other residents is very well taken care of, always appears well kept and healthy. There are never any complaints, only if a meal is not liked.

Hi, my name is Kirsty, and I am the General Manager here at Crabwall Hall.
I have been working in the care sector since 2008, when I started as a Community Care Co-ordinator, and have predominantly worked with the elderly ever since. In 2017, I moved over to work for Barchester Healthcare at Crabwall Hall in Chester as a Deputy Manager. After a couple of months, I stepped up to Acting General Manager and then stayed there as General Manager for 7 years, before moving over to Iddenshall & Beeston in September 2023 as a natural transition to the next stage of my management experience. Crabwall Hall has always felt like my home, and so I have made the decision to return.
I am proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to care for the older generation, and I hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
Outside of work, I like spending quality time with my partner, son, and our dog Alby. I have two parrots, who I am training to talk. I also enjoy swimming, exercising, and keeping active.

I joined the team at Crabwall in 2015 and bring a wealth of experience from working as a Head Chef in contract catering and in an oriental restaurant.
