All staff are excellent but always exceptionally busy, therefore cannot allocate any talk time that my mum misses. Everyone is pleasant, efficient, caring and helpful.

My mother became a resident here following a serious illness. I have nothing but praise for all the staff who treated my mum with great care and dignity. I was kept fully informed of her condition and any changes, and whenever I rang there was always someone to talk to. As I do not live near the home this was very important to me. Sadly, my mother passed away recently, but again the staff could not have been more compassionate. I highly recommend this home.

He had amazing care right to the end, the staff were friendly, approachable, very patient and hard working. My Father in laws daily saying was "he had no complaints about living here" which was of great comfort to the family. He had a good appetite and always enjoyed the food, and of course the freshly baked cakes. I would highly recommend Crabwall Hall, many thanks to the manager and all her hard working team for making a difficult situation for all of us pleasant.

She has enjoyed exceptional personal care and medical supervision during her stay; The staff of the house called our family doctor promptly to ensure my wife's treatment was appropriate and could not have been more attentive. The atmosphere is supportive and cheerful and she is receiving exemplary care.

My mother was in this home for a couple of months respite last year. The home was beautiful - wonderful friendly staff, activities, trips, and beautiful gardens. She has now decided she can no longer cope at home - aged 96!- so has moved in here permanently. My brother and I had absolutely no hesitation in putting her in here as we know she will be well looked after. The staff remembered her and welcomed her with open arms.
My visit was happy from the beginning to end. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. My dog was also made to feel welcome and visited the other residents. My friend is being very well looked after, and her needs attended to.

Mum was in respite care for 3 weeks and was well cared for. At 96 years of age, not an easy task, she had a fall whilst in residence but medical help was called and all was well. Wouldn't hesitate to use respite care for her in the future.

My aunt has been a resident for 5 months and has lots of help from staff during settling in period. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and every member of staff is always friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, problems and worries my aunt has had have been dealt with immediately and sympathetically, especially when she had problems using her phone. Someone was always available to help. Calls to the office with questions were welcomed and problems resolved promptly. Facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. When visiting we are always offered drinks. There are activities provided every day which are well organised. We were present for two a choir and visiting people who brought animals. I am really pleased with Crabwall Hall as a home for my aunt.
My sister has been a resident at Crabwall for fourteen months and she is being looked after very well. I would recommend it to anybody. It is in a lovely location and the grounds are lovely.

My father has stayed here for nearly 3 weeks and is happy with his care. He frequently mentions how pleasant and helpful the staff are. He has been involved in some of the activities, but is content to relax in his room. He is enjoying the food and the peaceful atmosphere.

My mother enjoyed the food and the activities, and her state of health improved dramatically in the two weeks she spent at Crabwall.
I cannot recommend it highly enough and would definitely use it for respite care in the future.

Hi, my name is Kirsty, and I am the General Manager here at Crabwall Hall.
I have been working in the care sector since 2008, when I started as a Community Care Co-ordinator, and have predominantly worked with the elderly ever since. In 2017, I moved over to work for Barchester Healthcare at Crabwall Hall in Chester as a Deputy Manager. After a couple of months, I stepped up to Acting General Manager and then stayed there as General Manager for 7 years, before moving over to Iddenshall & Beeston in September 2023 as a natural transition to the next stage of my management experience. Crabwall Hall has always felt like my home, and so I have made the decision to return.
I am proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to care for the older generation, and I hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
Outside of work, I like spending quality time with my partner, son, and our dog Alby. I have two parrots, who I am training to talk. I also enjoy swimming, exercising, and keeping active.
I look forward to welcoming you to our home!

Every day is different here at Crabwall Hall. The best part of my job is meeting new people, showing them what we provide and getting to know each person well as they move in and become part of the Crabwall Hall community.
I look forward to you visiting and showing you around our wonderful home!

Hi, I'm Ian, the Head Chef here at Crabwall Hall.
I have been a Chef since I left school, starting on what was then a YTS training scheme - it was the making of me, and I have embraced every opportunity since then.
I joined the team at Crabwall in 2015 and bring a wealth of experience from working as a Head Chef in contract catering and in an oriental restaurant. I enjoy being creative, and I listen carefully to what Residents like and dislike to make sure I deliver a menu that suits their needs. I even take special requests.
Not just a Chef, I enjoy building relationships with our Residents, chatting with them in the dining room and immersing myself in their day-to-day lives at Crabwall and being part of the community.

Hello, I'm Karen, and I am a member of the Activities Team at Crabwall Hall.
I have been a member of the team since 2012. We adopt a whole home approach at Crabwall, so I also help out in the kitchen and care when needed too - we all work together.
I want our Residents to be happy and content. I bring ideas and creativity to activities we offer and always chat to Residents about what they want to do. It is important that Residents feel listened to and have choices.
Pop along to the home and see what we get up to - we always welcome visitors to join in with our activities and events.

Hi, I'm Kath, Head Housekeeper at Crabwall Hall.
I have been at the home since 2019, joining as a Cleaner, before trying my hand as a Carer, which I loved. However, when the opportunity came for the Head Housekeeping role, I knew that's where my strengths were.
It's important to me that Residents live in a clean and tidy home, as it supports their wellbeing. I want the home to feel welcoming for families and visitors, and for Residents to feel proud of where they live.
Please come and see us at Crabwall, visit our Residents and enjoy our home with us.

Hi, we are members of the housekeeping team and enjoy working at Crabwall. The residents feel like part of our extended family. We take great pride in making sure their home and rooms are spotlessly clean. Taking pride in their home is important for the residents, and as a team, we feel passionate about this too.
The lovely part of the role is that we get to know each resident and the ways we can make them happy by the little touches that can lighten their da,y including having a chat as we work.

I joined the team in 201,9 and straight away I felt right at home. I support Residents at mealtimes and ensure they have a quality dining experience. I spend time chatting to Residents because it's important that mealtimes are a social experience.
Prior to joining Crabwall, I was a waitress at The Queens Hotel in Chester.
