When we first went to view Gleavewood we were very impressed with the lovely caring attitude all staff have towards their residents and visitors, this gave us the confidence and security to know that my mother in law would be happy and content here .The home itself is very refreshing with windows open and unlike a few care homes we have viewed there is a clean aroma ,the home is spotless. The domestics taking pride in their job .The home has a fantastic family friendly feel all nursing staff being attentive to their residents. The food is as good as any hotel being hot tasty and delicious. I would give all the staff a 5 star rating just because they care about the welfare and happiness of each resident. My mother in law has never been so happy in a long time, please Gleavewood keep doing what you are.

From day 1 my nanna was so welcomed & the whole family was, every visit with my nanna there is always team members asking if need drinks/food or even just a chat, which means everything to us as my nanna is 96 years old, nothing is to much trouble & will help her to the lovely dinner room.

My uncle has been in Gleavewood care home for over 12 months now and has really enjoyed his stay there, he loves his room but more than anything he loves the staff all of them treat him with care and respect and always with a smile, nothing is ever to much trouble for them. No other home has taken the time to do this. All that was missing was an ensuite, but there was a commode and a toilet down the corridor. Everything was excellent, 10/10.
