The care my mother has received has been the best, she is so well looked after nothing is too much for them from the manager down to the care staff. My mum has been there since June 2022 and I can’t thank them enough for the way they look after her.

We cannot fault the staff at Hillcrest Care Home they are so caring and so lovely with mum. She was very unsettled when she came in and they have made every effort to settle her in and make sure she is comfortable.

My mum has been at Hillcrest for nearly 10 months now and I've found everyone to be welcoming, thoughtful and kind. The team of carers are attentive to my mum's comfort and individual needs and I feel there is genuine care for her well-being. It’s been a journey learning about my mum's condition and the management team and carers have always been there to offer sound advice when needed. It really does make such a difference knowing my mum is safe and cared for by the team.

As always every effort is made to accommodate the individual needs of residents. As well as providing a good standard of physical care, staff also recognise the importance of maintaining close relationships with family and friends. This home continues to provide professional support alongside kindness and gentle humour. Keep up the good work.

My mum has been at Hillcrest for 20 months now. A great weight has been lifted off my shoulders as an 'only' one. She is a much happier person now, being excellently looked after by a supportive team, comprising a manager, assistant manager, carers, caterers and cleaning staff. She recently had a blood clot and this was discovered by one of the lovely carers and immediate action was taken. I would not hesitate to recommend Hillcrest to any of my friends looking for care for their parents.

I rate Hillcrest very highly, my husband has been here over 2 years and is content. The staff are always cheerful and the care manager is superb with a most difficult job.

As a family, we are extremely happy with Dad's care. We feel confident that staff always have Dad's best interests at the centre of his care. We find all staff very welcoming and informative. Dad is always very clean and smart. The food and entertainment are fabulous.

When I visit my mum in the home, the staff are friendly and helpful. Also, the staff have a good friendship with my mum. The home is clean. I sometimes have my lunch with Mum, the food is always nice.

The staff is also friendly and always answers questions wherever possible! They go out of their way to help! The manager is always understanding and willing to listen.

My father has been in Hillcrest for just over 2 months and although Dad has advanced vascular dementia, he is settling in well. The staff are so patient and kind - which is the reason I placed Dad there in the first place and I know he is being well looked after.

My mother has now lived at Hillcrest residential home for a year. I have been extremely impressed by the level of care she has received. All the staff are very kind and caring; there is always laughter when we visit. The food is just right for Mum's age group. The activities are frequent and varied. I was dreading the day that we would need to use a care home, but Mum is actually much happier since she went there. I think that all of this is down to the amazing management of the home. The manager and her deputy have thought of everything and have systems in place to ensure excellent care throughout.

My dad went into Hillcrest for respite whilst his house had building work done. The care from all carers has been exceptional, nothing has been too much trouble for them. My dad did not mix with other residents as he has all his facilities and is on oxygen 24/7 so requested to stay in his room which was no trouble at all. Excellent staff could not have wished for a better place for our dad to go. He has enjoyed being there and stays himself. The care is tremendous, he wasn't fussed about the food there but he is a basic eater and only tends to have one meal a day.

As I live out of the area it is great to know when I can't visit that Mum is safe and well cared for.

I found all the staff very friendly and helpful in caring for my mother. They made sure she was well looked after and well fed and kept comfortable at all times. Couldn't have wished for a better home for her to be in. My sincere thanks to all the staff for the loving care and attention shown to my mother.

Always looked after my mother and contacted us promptly if any concerns. In her later years, suffering from dementia made it hard for us, but the staff looked after Mother as they had previously.

Care given by staff and manager was excellent. They always involved us and kept us informed, nothing was too much trouble; they were Mum's second family. In Mum's final days she was cared for with massive love, compassion, dignity and respect. We cannot speak highly enough of them.

My mum was cared for with love and respect by all the staff at Hillcrest. As a family, we will be eternally grateful.

I cannot recommend Hillcrest highly enough. The staff and management are the most caring and compassionate people I have ever known. It is spotlessly clean and every resident is treated with the utmost dignity. When mum passed away they went over and above to ensure she was peaceful. The food is of the highest standard. A wonderful home, with wonderful staff. Thank you.
