The team at Ingersley Court has the balance just right - offering first-class care whilst promoting independence wherever possible amongst its residents. Residents are treated with respect, and the team care for them in a way that is reassuring for both residents and their respective families alike. The team often go above and beyond to ensure that residents have what they need to enable them to live and enjoy their lives in a care home setting.
Kind regards.
I could not have wished for a more caring place for my Aunt to have spent her last years. The care during her last few months especially with the COVID-19 crisis could not have been better.
I have found Ingersley Court to be a homely, safe and wonderfully run by a wonderful, kind and caring team of staff. Where nothing is to much. My loved one is very happy in your home. Thank you for caring for her.
My overall impression of the home is good with certain areas which could be improved quite easily with an increase in spend and training Main meals mostly ok - presentation and portion size on occasion a bit hit and miss. Homemade diabetic puddings poor and lack taste. Very poor outdoor space/facilities. Care staff appear to work exceptionally hard, but my impression is there isn't enough of them, and they always appear to be against the clock. A better understanding of clients individual needs/requirements. Increased room cleaning/chacking, particularly for those room-bound and having toilet difficulties. Better communication with regards to client requests and feedback with relatives. As a service provider, I feel there is a lack of customer focus via certain individuals, but not all.
Great care from the staff as normal.
You have a good/strong manager, which also helps.
From what I have seen, the staff are all very good. Food looks very nice and good selection. Rooms are clean, my mum is always very clean and tidy. Not sure about the activities, not been able to go in and see what they do because of covid19. I would like to thank all the staff for keeping all the resident safe and well.
It gives the family great peace of mind to know that our mother is well looked after and cared for at Ingersley Court. The staff are extremely hard working and busy, but always seem to have time to respond to my mother's needs in terms of care and support. The home has a feel of being one big family unit.
The staff at Ingersley Court are dedicated and committed professionals providing the best care they can for the residents. No matter how busy they are, they always find time to have a chat. Their patience, love and care is always evident, and Mum is always treated with respect. Ingersley Court has risen to the challenges in all aspects that the pandemic has thrown at them. Because of this, the home needs to be congratulated that no covid19 cases have been recorded here. Although the home has been in lockdown, Mum and I have been able to communicate through an open window! Meals are excellent. I thoroughly recommend Ingersley Court to anyone whose loved ones need to be cared for.
I think the fact there hasn't been any covid19 cases at the home, says it all, and is something the home should be proud of! Thank you for all the hard work and dedication of the staff.
Mum went into the home very suddenly at the end of March as we felt her situation wouldn't be safe at home over the Covid-19 crisis. The home has kept her safe and protected. On moving in Mum was isolated for two weeks. I haven't been in but now speak through her open bedroom window. Every person, both management and staff, are pleasant and professional. Mum seems satisfied with her care and has a lovely room with a view, enjoys the food and gets medical help if required. She doesn't take part in many activities, but this could be just her as she lacks motivation and says she is tired. The home is a bit tatty on the outside, but inside is lovely and homely too.
My sister and I are very pleased with the care Mum is receiving. All the staff are doing a fantastic job under these very difficult circumstances. It must be very hard for all the staff, as is very difficult for us as a family not being able to see Mum as she keeps forgetting about the virus and why we can't go into the building to see her. Mum said to me a few weeks ago I feel abandoned and I'm not surprised as all care homes went into lockdown on the 13th March 23 weeks ago.
Overall Mum seems very happy and settled.
The staff at Ingersley Court are dedicated, committed and professional. They are a cohesive unit with the common aim of providing the best care they can for residents with dementia. They respect the wishes of my mother, protect her dignity and work with considerable limitations. Their patience, warmth, love and care are evident on a daily basis. They are quick to make the most of the best days for her. I am reassured that they keep me well informed and have a rigorous record keeping system. I have every confidence that my mother is in safe hands.
Ingersley Court is bright, cheerful and very clean.
The staff are wonderfully kind, patient and considerate to the resident's needs and each person is treated with respect. My home is in Canada and I am greatly reassured now concerning my mother's care and well being.
Excellent, caring, clean and great staff facilities very good. Recommend in the future definitely.
Make sure batteries are in my mums hearing aid, it is working, and she has it in. Also to please make sure she has clean clothes every couple of days as my mum's dementia is changing as she tends to put the same clothes on again. Really pleased with the care, they do a brilliant job.
I was delighted on my visit to my Nana to see how happy and well cared for she is. She gave us a full tour and introduced us to all her friends and staff. Was delighted to see the open door policy as she felt comfortable popping into both the staff office and the managers office to say hello. Her room was cosy and personal. The home was spotless and the care staff were great and she clearly had good connections. She told us about the regular activities and that she had been asked to get up to sing by the artist on her birthday, which she loved being a singer. The lounge had a lovely cosy and relaxed atmosphere with residents happily chatting or reading with a cup of tea. Nana says the food is lovely. From what Nana told us and what we saw for ourselves, this is a caring happy home. Thanks to "the lads" and "the lasses" equally for their patience and care and the management for making mum and me feel welcome. It meant a lot to us.
Thank you so much for this super feedback. We are so delighted to hear that your grandmother has settled so well at Ingersley, and built such great relationships with our team. It's great to have her living with us! We aim to provide a relaxed and happy 'home from home' feel and we're delighted to hear that this has been your family's experience.
The staff are very caring and efficient. Always there if needed 24/7. The meals are excellent. I love being at the home I always feel safe.
Thank you for your lovely feedback about our dedicated team. It means a lot to us, and we are delighted to hear that you are happy with life at Ingersley - including the food!
2 - Room not always clean - sometimes sticky tables and carpet not cleaned - this once again, only happens when short-staffed. Dining room and conservatory clean and well-maintained.
3 - Mother-in-law loves trips out and activities - more would be appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback, which is always appreciated and helps us improve.
There has been a small amount of staff turnover this year, which is an inevitable part of running any operation, and we do our best to keep the impact of this to a minimum for residents. We...
Mum has been here for 6 months during which time her health and well-being has improved immensely. We are very pleased with her all round care and attention. Mum is very happy here.
We are so pleased to hear that your family is pleased with the support provided at Ingersley Court and that your mum is thriving. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. It is greatly appreciated and means a lot to the staff team.
