My mum took a while to settle into Lauren Court but now she is happy to be there. She joins in with bingo, daily exercises and going out on trips. The resident's dining room is pleasant, however, Mum prefers to eat in her own room. She has made friends whilst being there. The staff are all very helpful and caring. All the cleaning and laundry is carried out to a very good standard. I am happy that Mum is in a safe and caring environment.
Lovely friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Made my aunt feel welcome from the first second and gave great care at all times. The room is lovely, food and entertainment are brilliant. Staff always on hand to offer assistance.
My mum has been at Lauren Court for over 3 years. The staff are very respectful and show interest in talking and listening to her. She has a lovely room filled with her own possessions and it is cleaned regularly. Mum enjoys her meals, the dining room tables are always set nice and there is always a weekly menu you can review. Activities and events take place on most days and residents are encouraged to participate and mix together. The home has a family feel to it and knowing Mum is happy and content is also very reassuring.
Lauren Court is an absolutely fabulous Care Home. We couldn't be happier with the help and service they have provided to my Mother. She started her residency there in early April this, after we moved her out from somewhere less suitable. You can tell as soon as you walk through the door that this is a special place to stay. The staff are lovely and kind and there is always someone on hand if help is needed. We always get a warm welcome whenever we visit (and so does our dog Tilly too). There is a full programme of activities which my Mum thoroughly enjoys and this helps to keep body and mind active throughout the day.
All the staff are very friendly and caring. My mother has been there for 12 months and often says how lucky she feels to be somewhere so nice and how much she enjoys the friendship of the staff. The home was extremely accommodating when my mother had to move in at extremely short notice following a home visit from a member of the staff to do the assessment.
My mum came here for respite and has been here for several months now. The care home is modern, clean and well kept. Mum's room is lovely, overlooking a large playing field, which Mum loves looking on too. Staff have been very supportive and friendly. Lots of activities for Mum to join in if she wants to. Overall, we, as a family, are very happy with Mum's stay here, and most importantly, so is Mum.
Lauren Court continues to provide excellent care. The staff are kind and caring, taking a personal interest in their residents who are well turned out, comfortable and content. The activities and facilities cater for all. Highly recommended.
I think it fabulous how attentive all the staff are. Glad my dads here and well looked after. All the staff are very welcoming and my dad seems happy here. Im looking g forward to going on a day our. Thanks
The home takes very good care of Mum who has been at Lauren Court for over 2 years. Mum is happy and settled there and the staff are caring, kind and lovely to her. They take great care of her, are very interested in her and spend time talking and listening to her. I really like the staff who make me feel so welcome when I visit Mum and feel they are very approachable. It is great that there is a good choice of activities available which Mum enjoys. Thank you so much.
I have found Lauren Court greatly improved over the last few months. The staff are attentive and caring.
Our father was made to feel like a family member with the most amazing caring staff.
Unfortunately, his health deteriorated and he passed away on the 18th of September in Lauren Court with dignity and the staff at his side until the family could be with him.
My father's funeral took place yesterday and members of staff attended the service. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for the excellent care you gave to my father.
Mum came here for respite in May (after being in hospital since February) with a view to returning home with a care plan in place. From our first visit, we knew Lauren Court was the right place for her. Lovely atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff who treat residents with respect. Mum is very happy here and wishes to stay and the family are happy for her to do so. She looks forward to meal times as the food is good! There are lots of activities and a lovely garden too. The staff will always contact us if any issues - we are more than happy with the care provided.
Dad moved into Lauren Court in June following falls at home. He has settled extremely well and is very happy here. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Dad is treated with respect at all times. His room is ideal for his needs and Lauren Court is always clean and welcoming.
The review today was excellent. It gave an insight into what the daycare of my mother consists of. Every area of care was explained. Feel very happy that my mother is lucky to be a resident at this care home. All management and staff are very helpful.
The staff at Lauren Court have been so supportive of my grandpa and us as a family in ensuring his transition from home to the care home has been as smooth as possible. My grandpa turned 101 last week and up until seven weeks ago had lived at home. The staff made such a fuss of him on his birthday and made the day really special. The care he’s received has been excellent. There are lots of opportunities for him to engage with their broad range of activities which has really improved his quality of life. The staff have been welcoming and attentive and most importantly have made us feel he’s being extremely well looked after. A big thanks to you all.
When my relative became a resident in March 2023, when visiting her and wishing to speak to management, they were not visible and the office door was always closed. I now visit mostly at weekends when, I believe, management are not on the premises. However, I understand from other relatives, that they are easier to contact by phone and are available to speak to Monday to Friday. Whenever I visit I am made to feel welcome by the staff, all of whom are kind, caring and understanding towards the residents. My relative is very happy at Lauren Court.
Thank you for your kind review. I am the new manager at Lauren Court; I started my post here June 2023. I would love to have the opportunity to meet with you. I have an open-door policy Monday-Friday, and I can also come in by appointment at the weekend. My deputy manager is on-site every other...
The friendly staff immediately made my dad feel at home, and he was able to settle in very quickly and now feels like part of the family. He is enjoying the company of the friendly, caring staff and the outings, loves the food, and in every respect, has embraced Lauren Court as his new home. This is the result all his family wished for.
During my visits to see my mother during her respite stay, I was impressed by the excellent treatment of her by all the staff. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent care and attention at all times. The facilities were well-maintained and cleanliness was excellent.
I literally cannot praise the staff at Lauren Court Care Home enough. They are all incredible with my mum - kind, caring, patient, loving and genuinely funny. It's a phenomenal team of people. The home itself is clean, warm and welcoming. My mum is happier in Lauren Court than she has been for many, many years.
Dad has settled in well since he moved in. He is warm, comfortable and has good attention from the staff.
