There is a new building being built and so I'm sure this will be an even better care home very soon.

More than happy with the care given to my Nan at Wealstones. We had heard good things about the home and it was our 1st choice when looking for suitable care. 10 months in my Nan is thriving here, very happy, has made friends and is visibly well looked after. It was a difficult decision and move and due to dementia she can be difficult to deal with at times but the staff are very patient and kind with her. No worries at all about her now which is a blessing. Would 100% recommend to others.

Since moving in, Mum has come on so much. She is happier and enjoys being part of the home. Seeing such a positive change in her means the world to us and has brought so much happiness to our family. The staff take the time to get to know each resident as an individual, and it really shows in the way they care for them.

we were particularly impressed by the warm, homely atmosphere, the residents' freedom to move around and the cleanliness throughout. Despite late-stage Alzheimer's Mum enjoyed the activities, crafts, and outings whilst being in a safe and secure environment. The staff were so friendly and constantly chatted with her, gave her cuddles, and made her feel genuinely loved and cared for. When Mum became ill the Manager went above and beyond coordinating her care, while all the staff looked after her with such dignity, respect and professionalism, they were truly exceptional. As a family, we could visit mum anytime and were always kept informed and treated with kindness and compassion. We will forever be grateful for the love and care Mum received, and we cannot recommend Wealstone Care Home highly enough.

Our friend came to Wealstone almost two years ago. He died at the home peacefully this month. He didn't have any relatives but old friends who visited regularly. All the staff were kind and helpful always making is welcome and looked after our friend really well. He was happy at Wealstone and was popular with the staff who all liked him. He had a peaceful death and was never alone. We will always miss him.

We made the decision to place dad in Wealstone back in September after a lengthy stay in hospital. Initially I was very defensive and suspicious, but gradually realised how good the staff are in caring for people . Most of the carers have been there for a number of years and take great pride in their work, this has helped our dad to settle quickly and our family relax knowing he is safe. From those in charge and everyone who works there, our family recommend Wealstone as a great place for loved ones to stay when they need help.
