They are also supportive to families and the management ensure any questions or requests are responded to in a timely manner. I am really happy with the care home, the management and the staff and would recomend the care home to other families, food is home made and excellent.

My mum has settled very well into Woodeaves. The social side and the activities have really benefited Mum. Mum doesn't have a remote that works for her telly meaning she doesn't get to watch telly of an evening.
We're very glad that Mum has settled so well at Woodeaves and that we were able to resolve the issues raised quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. Mum loves the activities and it's great to see her enjoying herself.
The home noticed that my husbands blood levels had not been completed + noticed his behaviour being impacted. The bloods have now been booked back in monthly + Aug went ahead without having to be requested.

My mum has been at Woodeaves since June 2026. She has settled really well and seems happy when we visit. The staff are all very friendly and care for the residents well. She has a lovely room which is always very clean. Meals are home cooked and mum seems to enjoy them!

My Mum has now been a resident at Woodeaves for almost a year. I visit her almost every day, and it is clearly evident that she is incredibly well cared for and respected by all of the staff.

It was obviously a major upheaval for her; but they have gone out of their way to make her feel at home. The staff are very caring and listen and respond well to any concerns that Mum or I have. They are also conscientious in managing Mum's medical needs.
Both the manager and deputy manager are approachable and professional. They have been very helpful when I have gone to them for advice. The home is very well managed.
My Mum has very traditional tastes with her food and they cater extremely well for her. The food is prepared and cooked on the premises and Mum often tells me that she has enjoyed her lunch.
I have no hesitation in recommending Woodeaves as a Care Home.

Mum wasn't very well this month, and she was looked after incredibly well. Doctor came out promptly, and the staff kept an eye on Mum the whole time. Cleaning her room, washing and dressing her and making sure she ate. They kept her company and generally made sure she was ok.

From the moment mum arrived, it was clear that all of the staff genuinely cared about her wellbeing and treated mum with such kindness, patience and respect, making her feel valued and loved at all times. Woodeaves is like a "home from home" and was always clean, safe and very welcoming, providing a warm and homely atmosphere. The level of professionalism and compassion shown by every member of the team - from the carers to the management was truly remarkable - a massive shout out to the manager and deputy manager for going above and beyond, especially in mums final weeks, we really cant thank them enough. Every day she was treated with dignity, compassion and kindness and we will always be grateful for the sense of comfort and security that the care home provided during such a difficult time. We highly recommend Woodeaves!

My Mum went to live at Woodeaves in January 2024 as she was unable to live on her own safely. From the moment I had contact with the manager I felt I had known them for ages. They made the transition for Mum so easy and made her so welcome and literally "at home". She soon adapted to being there due to the caring environment and nurturing. In September, we had a scare when Mum had quite an out-of-the-blue cardiac episode, we were on holiday in Spain! They literally saved her life with their quick response and actions. We were kept informed of absolutely everything and am glad today Mum went "home" after 2 days. From management down, to every member of staff, they are exceptional and I am so happy Mum is in their care.

Thank you for your lovely review, Mum is such a character and she has us in tears of laughter, I love that she is outspoken. We often listen to Mum giving us her impersonations of Mrs Brown's boys, Mum is an absolute treasure and it's a pleasure to be able to look after her, even when she does tell me off for putting too much salt on my food.
Staff are empathetic to my dad's needs. The home has a friendly atmosphere. Food is prepared to his needs and he particularly likes the puddings!

Thank you for your review, the staff take the time to get to know the residents and their needs. We all know how much dad likes his puddings, he definitely looks forward to these and devours them in seconds ready for his next one. Your dad has come a long way and we can all see how content he is in the home, he is a joy to look after.

Nothing is too much trouble and Colleen is always ready to discuss any and all, the care needs you or your family member may have.
