It's a very sociable place, well looked after. Staff excellent, can't find fault. I've made a lot of friends. Manager is exceptional, lovely lodge apartment.

Overall Experience
Warm welcoming feel to the home. Saw several staff interacting with residents on a 1:1 basis. Apartment clean, fresh and modern furniture but no drawers - shelves en-suite to put toiletries and sanitary items - this was mentioned and will be addressed soon (recent switch to shower room from bathroom).

Apartment layout is good and adequate. I was told food is good. Shocked to hear that a resident was moved to another apartment whilst work on new en-suite was carried out but the apartment wasn't cleared of previous resident's clothes/shoes etc.

Overall Experience

Lovely atmosphere on entering. The staff have an excellent relationship with both families and residents. Always willing to chat about your resident. Staff always warm and welcoming nothing too much to ask for. Meals can be adapted to personal needs. Rooms are warm, clean and tastefully decorated, residents can bring in their own furniture.

Overall Experience

Had a good laugh with everyone. Staff are lovely very good to talk to. Very comfortable. I am able to sit in my room for peace and quiet or sit and take part in the activities if I want to. I was always given a choice, I was well looked after. Room is perfect much more than that to have an apartment is so nice, like home from home. Everything I could wish for.

Mum has lived at Alexandra Court for six years, she is very settled in her own apartment within the care home. The staff are all friendly and efficient. Being in an apartment mum has been able to have a lot of her own belongings around her and this has helped a lot with her change in life.

I am happy living at Alexandra Court. I can have visitors at any time. Our activities co-ordinator is very good. The manager has only just started but seems very nice.

Homely and friendly. Lovely apartments, warm and cosy. Very caring and understanding staff. Due to circumstances my aunt regretfully had to leave as her needs had changed but her time there was enjoyed and satisfied for the duration. A happy home!

Hello, my name is Anabela Silva-Phillips, I'm the Home Manager at Alexandra Court.

I'm passionate about ensuring that people receiving Health and Social Care have an excellent experience, and it is a previlege to be the Home Manager at Alexandra Court.

I commenced my working life with the Red Cross, attending to pilgrims and eldery church members. I progressed through my career with training and gained experiences, giving me the skills to successfully manage care services.
