Amazing care home, the staff and manager are so caring, my grandma loves it here, plenty of things going on, day trips, great food with menus. Lovely rooms set in a country location, snacks and drinks available all day. It’s all about the needs of the residents and Marsh House puts the residents needs first.

Overall Experience

Making the decision that your parent needs to go into care is very difficult and finding one that is suitable is even harder so we are glad to have found Marsh House. It is a bright clean environment in a lovely rural setting with a staff who obviously care about their residents. We always find the management and staff very approachable and they were extremely supportive in the early days when Mum was settling in. We particularly like the fact that we can visit any time of day without prior notice. Mum is very comfortable in her room, well looked after and well-fed. The food is varied and well presented at mealtimes with plenty of choices. Mum enjoys her food and the social aspect of the dining room. Although Mum prefers not to always join in, there are activities available and trips out are popular too. We would not hesitate to recommend Marsh House to anyone looking for somewhere, either for respite or long term care.

Overall Experience
To the wonderful staff of Marsh House care home, I cannot begin to thank you and show my appreciation for the incredible care and attention you gave to my mum, while she was with you until she sadly passed away on the 20/11/17.
Everyone from the management, nurses, care assistants, laundry ladies, cleaning ladies, cooks and handyman all went above and beyond to ensure my mum was given everything she needed. She was allowed to make her own choices and keep a certain level of independence.

Thank you for your kind words, cards, condolences and words of support and comfort given to me and my family. I really do thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Kind regards.
