NH is full of love , you feel it from the moment the door is opened to you. Happy staff greet you with a smile and with interest, they want to hear memories and stories of your loved one. Staff have time for you. My uncle settled in quickly. He is happy and well looked after.
I work in care, I know a good care home, this care home exceeds that. Yes it has a tired decor, but it's clean. Staff and residents are happy, there is a lot of laughter (and even more love). The activities are inclusive. They also care about residents loved ones.
Choosing the right care placement for a loved one is hard , choosing NH was easy (and they haven't let us down).
Thank you NH for your care and attention , it doesn't go unnoticed
Thank you - We are so pleased that H is with us
The staff are lovely and my nanna is very happy here. Thank you very much for looking after her so well.
Thank you Faye - Nanna is a pleasure to look after.
Halloween party the staff were lovely and helpful and had fireworks which were brilliant alright had lots of space and the food was really nice overall a very good night everyone was enjoying themselves
We are so glad you enjoyed the event with everyone - thank you for your continued support.
At a very difficult time for the family, our fears were laid to rest because of the great care my husband received. Nazareth Lancaster has a fab team led by a manager who generally treats people as individuals. My husband passed away recently, she really did make that more bearable. The manager and her team are a great asset to your company. The building could do with some TLC.
Thank you for the Lovely feedback, I will share this with the team.
My mum is more happier and settled. They take very good care of my mum since coming into the home. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. I honestly cannot fault anything regarding the home and the care given to my mum.
Thank you for your lovely review - we will share this with the team.
So ok the interior needs money spending on it. My brother-in-law has been there about 10 months and has always been happy. The care received has been really good but it was in the last 5 days of his life that it really stepped up. His end of life care has been excellent. They have shown understanding, empathy, respect, dignity. Someone was at his bedside 24/7 in the last days (family that is) and they supplied food and drink and nothing was too much trouble for them. I coud keep gong on, just keep doing what you are doing, I commend you.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We will pass this on to the team. It was a pleasure to care and support you all.
Previously to this, we had to have four ambulance visits and three admissions to hospital within the space of 5 months.
When my mum first went into Nazareth House she was underweight, had two pressure sores on her back, was mentally very unhappy and had given up on life to the point where she was talking about ending it.
As you can imagine, as a family, we were distraught, heartbroken and very worried about my mum.
In the short space of 4 months since August, we have all seen a huge difference and improvement to her health physically and mentally.
She has gained weight, looks so much better and is happy again. She has also made new friends and is finally receiving the care that she needs.
As a family, we don't have to worry anymore about her not getting her health and wellbeing.
I can't thank the staff at Nazareth House enough for their ongoing work with my mum.
Thank you, your mum is a pleasure to care for. I will share your lovely review with them team.
More important however, is the way the staff really care for the residents, all in all, a lovely atmosphere.
Thank you for the lovely review, we will share this with the team.
The home was warm and inviting and the residents appeared happy there.
Lots of activities and events outside the home are encouraged and family members are welcome to attend.
It is certainly a home from home with wonderful Christmas decor and entertainment during December.
Could not ask for a more secure homely environment to be cared in for my friends and relatives.
I would certainly recommend to others.
Thank you for your lovely review, we will share this with your team.
I visit my father often and always feel welcomed.
Thank you, we are pleased you are made to feel welcome when visiting your dad.
I feel my mum is in good hands, and the staff keep me updated between my biweekly visits if there are any concerns.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We will ensure this is shared with the team.
The caregivers are compassionate and professional, ensuring that my relative feels safe, respected and valued. They go above and beyond. The variety of activities and social events offered, keeps the residents engaged and happy, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Overall Nazareth has exceeded our expectations in every way. It has given us peace of mind knowing that our relative is receiving the best possible care in a supportive and loving environment. I highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a place where their family member will be treated with dignity and kindness.

My sisters and I were very pleased when Mum was given a place in Nazareth House Lancaster. Staff and management always go above and beyond for the residents. Mum receives great care and attention. Food is first class and entertainment and activities are great.
Thank you for your continued support. This review will be shared with our team.
Mum was reluctant to give up independent living at the age of 99 but is loving her new home. The care she receives is 5 star. All staff are caring, patient and understanding of Mum's needs. Mum takes part in planned activities which keeps her mentally stimulated and loves the entertainment on offer. Mum has also put weight on thanks to the help of a very thoughtful catering team who tailor the menu to her tastes. Thank you all at Nazareth House for making Mum's palliative care as pleasant as possible.
Thank you for the lovely review. Mum's a pleasure.
And to top the day off, they took everyone for a drink.
They always go above and beyond.
Thank you to two particular team members and all the staff.
Thank you for your review - we will share this with our team.
The staff constantly put the residents first, and have taken them out for some wonderful days out; including the ice skating this past week. The residents, my Nana included, have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Many care homes (and through family, I've experienced a few) find it difficult to take residents out of the home, but Nazareth House make it a priority.
My Nana has been at Nazareth House as a resident for a few years now, and when she went in, she wasn't her usual self - the time there has enabled her to feel looked after and become more confident again.
I can't thank the home and the staff within it enough!
Thank you for the kind review - we will share this with the team.
I am always pleased with the way staff interact with both myself and my mother, always a friendly smile and a little banter. Mum has on occasion complained about the food she receives but to be fare she has always been very picky about what she eats.
Thank you for your honest feedback, this will be shared with the team.
Within the home, my mother has settled well and feels safe and secure here.
Mum had to be placed into care and we couldn't have picked anywhere better. The management and staff were very supportive to Mum, who was finding settling in difficult. She now has friends and has started to join in with the activities. The nuns are always about and very happy to stand and chat.
The care she received during the last weeks and days of her life was impeccable. She was so well looked after and I felt a genuine concern from all the care workers who cared for her so compassionately.
I highly recommend Nazareth House to anyone considering placing a family member there.
Thank you all so much.
