> Communal areas include 4 lounge areas for relaxing and socialising, including a purpose-designed area to support those living with dementia. All floors can be accessed via the three lifts available and stairlifts to support.
> Well-established gardens include a summer house for residents to enjoy, sheltered areas for activities regardless of weather conditions, a sensory walk and The Keate Arms - Keate House's very own bar!
> A nourishing and varied menu is provided and special diets can be catered for by an award-winning catering team.

> Keate House offers a diverse award-winning activity programme for residents and families, with a focus for both in-house recreation and opportunities in the local community and beyond (supported by its very own mini-bus). Keate House's ethos ensures that everyone can have equal benefit from a comprehensive activity programme regardless of ability.
> Activities include (but are not limited to): exercise classes, dementia-friendly activities, animal therapy, singing and live entertainment, private swimming sessions, trips into the local community and beyond, seasonal events, themed parties, and more!

Mum has been living at Keate House for almost 7 years. Throughout the whole time she has been well looked after and entertained. As her dementia has deteriorated and her needs have changed, the staff have adapted to her needs. What really stands out at Keate House is the number of staff who have been
there throughout the whole period of Mum's stay. This includes many carers and staff working in other functions. This creates a strong, friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere that feels like one big family. I struck lucky when I found Keate House. I would not want Mum to be anywhere else.

Always greeted in a positive manner when I visit. Staff know all the residents and can talk about the residents' families confidently. They are able to name family members. Residents are always treated with dignity and respect. Staff ensure residents eat and drink well. Constantly give drinks out and
prompt them to drink. A lovely home that has looked after my mum perfectly.

My mum arrived here and was in desperate need to be cared for. From day one the staff have been amazing so kind caring for my mum. The premises is always clean, well maintained, welcoming. The activities, meals available is excellent. Mums room is well decorated, clean, tidy. Mum is now living her life,
even though she has dementia I feel that through the dedication and care from the staff she is able to enjoy her life. Most importantly I know mum is safe, well cared for and that is all I can wish for.

Our Mum has been living at Keate House for over two years and she calls it 'home'. It is home: her home, a home where the most wonderful, kind, and caring staff look after her with dignity, love, and professionalism.

My Mum has been living at Keate House for over two years. She's 97, with dementia and a bad leg, and it's a great relief to know she is in safe hands. Keate House is family-owned and run and the sole focus of all the staff is to make the residents' lives as good as possible. The whole atmosphere is
very different from the care home from the big chain that my aunt was in. There are lots of activities, of varied types, so that there's something for everybody despite their condition. I can go and visit any time, take her out around the village in the wheelchair or out in the car, and everybody is helpful and cooperative. They also understand the different ways dementia affects people, and whether a change is an expected progression or some unrelated infection that needs referring to the GP. We are so glad we found Keate House.

From the outset, everyone at Keate House has been understanding and friendly when dealing both with my mum, who suffers from dementia, and our family, who obviously want the best care possible in her time of need. Regular communication, ease of visiting, attention to detail, and quality surroundings,
all made possible by the wonderful staff, mean that I couldn't recommend anywhere better for my mum at this time in her life. It's also the little things, like the number of activities and stimulation that all the residents receive and the respect that each and everyone also gets, that means the environment, whilst challenging for the multiple needs of everyone concerned, is welcoming and run like a family home rather than a care establishment.

My uncle moved to Keate House in early June 2024. Everything about the experience has been fantastic. The carers are all so friendly. He is so well looked after. The food is lovely and he often says he has enjoyed it. There is plenty of entertainment for residents. He has visited the village and the
ice cream farm. The grounds are beautiful and very accessible. His room is great. Keate House just cannot do enough for the residents. My uncle has not stopped smiling since he arrived. Thank you for everything.

The staff at Keate are very kind, caring, and professional. Everyone has gone out of their way to ensure that Mum's transition to the home was as smooth and seamless as possible. Nothing has been too much trouble and the standard of communication between Keate, Mum, and us as relatives has been exemplary.
There
is absolutely nothing to fault in our experience so far. I feel confident that Mum is being very well cared for and that the staff at Keate are going out of their way to ensure that her needs are being met.

From the day my mother-in-law came to live at Keate House, she was looked after like a member of a family. All staff are so caring and made us feel so welcome. They treat everyone with such dignity and go the extra mile to ensure their residents are well cared for with activities taking place on a daily
basis keeping everyone included and active, including various outings in the in-house minibuses.
I would without question recommend Keate House, and having visited quite a few over the last twelve months I can certainly say this was the most outstanding in every area.

My Mum had to move into care home residency in early December 2023, and we were so very lucky to find Keate House.
From the first minute, and throughout the past few months, the quality of care and attention shone through always, right through the whole team.
On every visit, whichever team members
were present, there was an enthusiasm and passion for the care of residents, and often some form of activity supporting the camaraderie amongst all.
Keate House is a first rate care home, well managed, with superb carers throughout, a truly wonderful, lovely home, and without any hesitation can be highly recommended.

My mother-in-law is a resident at Keate House and has been for just over 2 years now. She moved across to Lymm from Lytham where she was extremely unhappy in the care home that she had recently moved into and has never looked back. The change in her since she was welcomed into Keate House is unbelievable.
The staff are not only kind, caring and considerate of her needs but they show a genuine interest in her and her life before Keate House. I know from discussions with staff when I visit that they engage with my Mother-in-law on a regular basis and know her personality, likes and dislikes which makes life for her there pleasurable. There are daily activities and crafts that she can join in with if she likes or she can have quiet time in her room and the lounge should she want company. I would not hesitate to recommend Keate House to anyone who finds themselves in the hard decision of having to find residential care for a loved one.

My mum has been part of this amazing home for the last few months, their activities are great! They have things on, not only in the home, but Mum has also been out on their own minibus.
The staff are always extremely welcoming when I have visited my mum. Her bedroom is a lovely modern room with an
en-suite with a shower. I feel so relaxed knowing Mum is being looked after by lovely people in such a homely place!

Rooms come fully furnished with fitted wardrobes and drawers, single divan beds, widescreen TV, telephone point, complimentary Wi-Fi, call bells (and additional aids/adaptive mobility equipment provided as required at no extra cost). Rooms are close to all facilities including dining rooms, lounges, and reception area. Diane has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, accompanied by a Level 5 Higher-Degree Apprenticeship in Adult Social Care. Diane is passionate about adult social care and has a particular interest in working with people living with dementia, supporting them alongside her team to achieve great outcomes through personalised care. Diane believes that a happy team creates a happy home.
