Keate House Residential Home is situated in the heart of Lymm, Cheshire, offering the highest quality residential, dementia, respite and day care services for adults over 65.

The home and gardens:
> Communal areas include 4 lounge areas for relaxing and socialising, including a purpose-designed area to support those living with dementia. All floors can be accessed via the three lifts available and stairlifts to support.
> Well-established gardens include a summer house for residents to enjoy, sheltered areas for activities regardless of weather conditions, a sensory walk and The Keate Arms - Keate House's very own bar!
> A nourishing and varied menu is provided and special diets can be catered for by an award-winning catering team.

Activities and events:
> Keate House offers a diverse award-winning activity programme for residents and families, with a focus for both in-house recreation and opportunities in the local community and beyond (supported by its very own mini-bus). Keate House's ethos ensures that everyone can have equal benefit from a comprehensive activity programme regardless of ability.
> Activities include (but are not limited to): exercise classes, dementia-friendly activities, animal therapy, singing and live entertainment, private swimming sessions, trips into the local community and beyond, seasonal events, themed parties, and more!

I cannot be more positive about Keate House. My dad has been a resident there for two years and is as happy as I have ever seen him. He is so well cared for, the staff seem to know him really well, all his preferences and idiosyncrasies! When he is poorly they keep me really well informed, and when
needed the GP, has called me. Before the pandemic, I popped in regularly at different times of the day and was always made welcome. During the pandemic, Keate House has have embraced Zoom calls for family members and built a visiting hut in super quick time. The activity programme is amazing, inventive and looks like great fun. It is a very special place for your loved family member.

After being admitted from hospital into Keate House during COVID-19, my dad has settled fantastically well into his new setting. Staff are always highly attentive and caring for his needs, and it's great to see them go the extra mile to make sure his stay is comfortable at this time. Activities and
events are very impressive and it's great to keep up to date on their Facebook page. Medications are safely managed and the home itself has a warm and comfortable feel. Nice spacious bedroom with a wide TV for him to relax in as he pleases. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Dad has been a resident of Keate House for 6 months, during this time he has settled in, his health has improved, he is calmer and his overall mood has improved. He is made to feel like part of a family and he joins in with lots of activities. All of the staff are lovely, patient and caring, taking
time to get to know their residents, nothing is too much trouble. I am extremely grateful to all the staff at Keate House for making Dad's life so much happier and secure.

Having been an independent lady with care provided solely from her two daughters, we never thought Mum (93) would accept or choose to go into a care home.
Mum has settled amazingly well into Keate House where she has lived since September 2018.
She is well looked after by caring, friendly staff. She
loves all of her meals, her bedroom is comfortable, clean and warm (although she is rarely in it!) and her complex medication is dealt with professionally. She has enjoyed being part of a wider community whilst facing no pressure to join in with the many activities on offer.
She has gradually absorbed the friendly, community atmosphere throughout.
My sister and I are welcomed into the home at any time we turn up and Mum can come and go with us as she pleases.
We never thought we would be happy with a care home situation but are very relieved that Keate House has worked out so well for us all.

My father was a resident for almost two years and moved recently due to changing health needs. Keate House provided him with a safe, caring and supportive home. There is always a warm welcome with a friendly family atmosphere. The staff are extremely caring and are well led by a strong, knowledgeable
management team. There is a full range of excellent daily activities to provide stimulation and also strong links with the local community. My father was happy to live there and made many friends who he will miss.

Having not had a break/holiday for almost two years, finding somewhere suitable for my mum, who has Parkinson’s disease, to also have a break was quite hard but thank goodness for Keate House where she was well looked after. I had a lovely break in Lanzarote and I have booked the next respite knowing

Friendly cheerful staff and carers who are attentive and responsive. Good standard of cleanliness. Facilities and activities recently expanded. Medications are tightly controlled and professionally administered.

Keate House attends to the individual health needs of all residents, supported by their good access to and

We currently hold two vacancies for either residential or dementia care placements. This can be under a permanent or respite (short stay) basis. Both rooms are supported with an en suite (featuring toilet and basin), with one of the vacant rooms also having a personal wet room (featuring a private shower). Rooms come fully furnished with fitted wardrobes and drawers, single divan beds, widescreen TV, telephone point, complimentary Wi-Fi, call bells (and additional aids/adaptive mobility equipment provided as required at no extra cost). Rooms are close to all facilities including dining rooms, lounges, and reception area. These rooms come with an all-inclusive package of newspapers, hair appointments, podiatry, reflexology, and Wi-Fi. Please call for a viewing or tour.

Diane has worked in Health and Social Care since 2004. She joined Keate House in 2008 and has been working as Keate House's Registered Care Manager since 2015. Diane has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, accompanied by a Level 5 Higher-Degree Apprenticeship in Adult Social Care. Diane is passionate about adult social care and has a particular interest in working with people living with dementia, supporting them alongside her team to achieve great outcomes through personalised care. Diane believes that a happy team creates a happy home.

Andrew joined the team in March 2024 and has established himself as an integral member of Keate House's administration team.
