Anchor’s Widnes Hall, in Ditton, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 68 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle, as well as providing tailored dementia care. Widnes Hall continues to welcome new residents for residential and residential dementia care.

Widnes Hall is proud to be Veteran Friendly Framework accredited. The home strives to deliver a range of residential care services, including convalescence care, respite care, trial stays and long-term care for those who can no longer look after themselves.

The home's care team gets to know customers and works with them to organise stimulating activities which match individual and group interests, both in the care home as well as in the local community.

Each customer’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle requirements. Meals are cooked fresh and from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients where possible by highly trained chefs and kitchen staff.

Anchor is England’s largest provider of housing and care for those over 55 years of age and has 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people.

I found Widnes Gall to be very helpful in my mother's care. Her daily needs were catered for and staff were very supportive and caring towards her.

My mother-in-law stayed in Widnes Hall for respite and she could not have received better care. The care home was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very welcoming. The staff were fantastic; they gave us regular updates and showed great patience and understanding. I have no hesitation in recommending
Widnes Hall and hope that my mother-in-law will be able to receive respite care there in the future.

My husband was really well looked after both physically and mentally and the staff were excellent in every way. Nothing was too much effort for them. They were always professional and caring and always had time for their patients and their families. I am sorry that his needs changed and had to be transferred
to a different care home. I would like to thank everyone at Widnes Hall.

Widnes Hall is a very welcoming home and you are immediately made to feel at home when you walk in. Staff are always smiley and interact well with the residents. Activities are fantastic and there is always something going on which the residents always seem to enjoy.

It's a warm and friendly environment - just like home for residents. I did a lot of research when my father required dementia care and Widnes Hall was my preferred choice in the area. The management and staff are great and treat residents with dignity and respect. Some areas are looking a little 'tired'
and require decoration/new furniture but this is only a minor point, it is the standard of care that counts.

I always enjoy visiting my mother, all the staff are so friendly. They made my mother feel right at home straight away and she always seems so happy. Last week it was my mother's birthday, the staff held a birthday party and also gave a gift from the home. We were able to invite all family and friends.
It was a lovely day that we will always remember.

Widnes Hall is well run and looked after. You only have to ask for something and it's done. All the staff from the managers to the staff on the individual sections have the residents needs at their foremost concern.
