Berwick House Care Home is a delightful detached house set in its own grounds.

There are many facilities within easy reach of the home, including a general Post Office, various shops and a number of churches.

The Home and the grounds are fully equipped for wheelchair mobility, enabling Residents to retain their freedom and independence.

At Berwick House large attractive rooms are provided, most of which are en-suite. All Residents have a choice of room when possible and are encouraged to personalise it and make it their home.

Hospitality, comfort, dignity and care are the values of Berwick House Care Home and combined with its excellent facilities the home provides a comprehensive care service in a non-institutionalised setting.

The home has an established continuous programme of maintenance and refurbishment and has a nurse call system in every room in order for Residents to be able to summon speedy assistance.

A lift and a stair lift are provided to enable immobile or infirm residents and visitors to move easily between floors.

We visited my aunt who has recently arrived at the home. We were welcomed by the staff who were extremely friendly. They were very kind and caring to the residents. My aunt's room was spacious, clean and tidy. She said that the food was excellent and after the entertainment, a very plentiful buffet
was brought out for both residents and visitors alike. The atmosphere was lovely and caring. Very happy that she is there.

My mum has been in Berwick now over 3 months I can't thank the manager and her wonderful staff enough for settling and re-assuring both my mum and myself
The communication has been A1.
It can be a difficult time for all concerned but Berwick have made that pathway without issues.
Her room is nice
her care is excellent the new meal menus are fantastic and we are always made welcome from the friendly staff when visiting my mum.
There is always good thing going on with all the resident's garden partys, sing alongs, walks out etc along with internal building upgrades making Berwick care home an excellent choice

Had reservations about Mum going into the home. Had a good tour from the manager. Was able to choose a nice room. Mum has appeared to settle better than I thought. Has been kept busy through activities. I know she is now eating/drinking well and being kept clean - something she was not able to do living
on her own. Her medication has been reviewed and changed to suit her - again something I was unable to achieve while she was living independently. I know she is safe and communication from the manager during this settling-in period has been exemplary and helped assuage any fears me and my wife had in this process. All the staff have been excellent and Mum tells me every time I visit that they are all lovely.

My mum has just become a resident of Berwick House, and the management and staff have all been amazing. My mum is very happy here and settled very well due to everyone's care and time given to create a happy and friendly environment for her and all the other residents.

My great Nana is a resident in this care home, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. It’s a worrying time leaving a loved one in the care of others, but here you know they are being looked after, and they are going above and beyond to make sure each resident is being individually cared
for. My Nana loves all the staff and can see how comfortable she is with them, which makes us feel more relaxed her living there. We can’t thank the staff enough for all they do, and I would definitely recommend this care home.

A lovely home with lovely staff and management. I couldn't wish for my best friend to live anywhere else. On my first visit to the home, I was met at the door with a smile.
That smile put all the horror stories of care homes out of the window.
My friend is clean, well-fed and looked after.
The home
was clean, tea and snacks were made available, and the atmosphere was great having old-time music playing softly in the background.
So happy for her - it's a home from home.

Our auntie had to move directly into residential care from hospital and as we live over 100 miles away from her it was a daunting situation to find the right home. Fortunately for us, a nurse with experience of Berwick House Care Home recommended the team and we couldn't be more grateful, our auntie

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2025

Natalie is the Home Manager at Berwick House Care Home. Her main interest and experience are in managing successful care homes housing elderly and frail Residents, some of which have mental Health issues.


Natalie started her care career 19 years ago with us at Berwick House and has worked her way to the role of manager following the completion of her Level 6 in Management. Natalie is keen to work closely and in partnership with our Residents, their relatives and significant others to benefit the Residents in her care. She is a dynamic team leader and has an ongoing interest in professional development and career progression.
