The home manager runs the home very well. She is very approachable should we need to discuss anything in regards to my father-in-law. The home is clean and well kept. All staff are very friendly and attentive. My father-in-law has come on amazingly since coming to Riverside. I would definitely recommend this care home.
Thank you, for your kind comments. Your feedback will be passed onto the team at Riverside.
Riverside and the brilliant staff have cared for my father for two years now and after a difficult 2020 with Coronavirus, we went to visit him for the first time. With all the protocols in place, we had a wonderful visit, thanks to the staff and management. Well done to all through this extremely demanding time.
Thank you for your kind words, I will make sure your comments are passed on to the staff at Riverside.
Overall, I think the care given is very good, a disappointment that we are not able to get into Mum's room to over see her clothes and toiletries etc, but surely this will be rectified in due course. Could do with a review with the staff so we could discuss any concerns we have if necessary.
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately at this moment in time, we must maintain strict protocol to protect residents from Covid-19. Please be aware you are always welcome to contact the home management team should you have any concerns or would like a chat about anything.
The care home is of a very high standard. Well managed and the care is second to none. My dad is 91 years old and looks as well now as he has done in years. The meals look really nice, the carers do a fantastic job especially one of the senior staff.
Thank you for your kind words, I will pass on your comments to Riverside.
They seem to always be busy doing events and things and I love looking at all the photos of Nana smiling.
I feel reassured especially at the moment the home has been COVID free and I think it’s due to steps the home has taken.
Well done all.
Myself and my family are so grateful for the kindness and support the whole team at Riverside have shown my father. Thank you for all you do.
From first entering Riverside, my husband was treated with care and understanding. Once his needs were known, they were attended to. Being a very quiet person, he did not join in a lot of the activities, but they were provided, draughts, dominoes and group singing ( he joined in that and enjoyed it). The carers and management, also, made me feel welcome all in all good.

The staff, management are excellent. Very good with Mum. Mum is cared for in bed, we could not wish for anything better for Mum. The manager is very caring and approachable. There has been a big improvement in Riverside since the new manager has been there. The manager and staff work very hard to keep the home well kept. Activities coordinator is excellent. Residents are doing different activities throughout the day. Also, she goes into rooms to do activities with residents who are in bed.

The staff were consistently friendly and attentive.
They treated my wife well and were very ready to give advice and guidance about my wife's condition.
The centre manager needs a special mention - she was excellent.
She is a real asset to the care home!

In the short period of time, my mum has been in Riverside, everything is good. Staff are always available to talk about my mum, answer any questions we have. The home is clean and the food is very good.

Senior carers will listen about care and medication. Her accommodation is very homely and livable. These facilities are excellent with concerned and able management. Well done. A small concern is mum may need her pad changing more and a constant supply of liquid.
I thank all the staff. Thank you.
Thank you for this fantastic review. Our team work tirelessly to ensure that they provide the best possible care that they can, as well as making our resident's families feel as comfortable as possible, so it is wonderful to hear all of this reflected in your kind words. If you have any further...

My grandmother has only been a resident for a few weeks so I have very little history to report.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. I'm glad to hear that your grandmother is happy and comfortable and that the home is friendly. Kind regards, Care Home Manager.
My grandmother was very happy and comfortable, the staff were very engaging and happy to assist. The room was warm, cosy and felt very homely. The building was large and open, however, I didn't have time to view it.
Many thanks for leaving such a lovely review of our home. I’m glad that your grandmother is happy and comfortable and that the staff are happy to help.
Kind Regards,Susan Pickersgill,
Care Home Manager
My mum has been here seven years and I have not encountered any problems.
My husband went into respite care with a view to permanent care. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful towards myself and my husband who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He has a nice room and there is plenty of outdoor space for us to access which is beneficial to him as in his younger days he loved the garden. The staff are very patient and caring towards the residents and said residents are always clean and tidy.
Home Manager
From the initial assessment in my own home to the end of my stay, the treatment and care I received was truly exceptional.
I am so pleased that you enjoyed your time here and that you found you received good care.
It is very important to us that our residents feel at home and have everything they need.
Thank you again
Kind regards.
