My concern is the ongoing care of my mother and compliance to safeguarding and protection in the home, as have seen a decline over several months and would really like to see improvements in certain areas, hence my review.
Reply from Dhanus Ramdharry, Partner at Woodlands Lodge Care Home

The home is working hard with the authorities to improve every area at Woodlands for the last few weeks and hope that the reviewer is already seeing improvements.

My wife seems to be content and well looked after. The staff are always very helpful and obliging. My wife is eating well and is doing as well as anyone with advanced dementia can be expected to do. I am very happy with the care she is getting.

When I visited, the home looked clean and welcoming, the staff were really nice to talk to. Dad said the food wasn't very good, there weren't any activities to do apart from watching TV and the odd book to read. The care side was poor as he didn't get a shower til the end of his week and they didn't
wash his legs daily or apply cream to his legs and sore bottom.
