My friend has been a resident at The Beeches for some time now. He always looks happy and content. The staff always seem to be busy but nothing is too much trouble. I am always offered a drink when I visit.

One thing I have noticed is the laughter everyone is so happy. The home itself always looks clean and smells clean too.

I would like to say what a wonderful 102nd Birthday, my mother had at The Beeches. The manageress booked a splendid entertainment. Mum and residents happily singing along to Vera Lynn and sixties songs. The singers in costume, union jack waving, wearing "tin helmets" all adding to the atmosphere. The civic mayor attended, a lovely buffet lunch, beautiful birthday cake, flowers, cards, decorations - Wow! Thanks to the manager, the local paper ran a photo and report - mum was very proud to see herself and the mayor in the local press. Fame at last!

On behalf od my mother and family - a big "Thank you" to all the staff for working so hard to provide a really happy and very memorable day.

We feel incredibly lucky that our mum is part of the family that make up The Beeches. She has reached 101 years this month with the dedication of the whole team. She, along with all the other residents enjoyed a wonderful party in her celebration with a performance from two beautiful singers providing music from the 60's. It was a great afternoon, balloons, trimmings, party food and a decorated cake completed the event and was a huge success all round. I am forever singing the praises of the staff at The Beeches. I have complete confidence in her care and well being and am so grateful to the team at The Beeches.

Overall Experience
My father was a resident for a week to provide respite for his partner. On entering the home for the first time we were welcomed warmly and my farther's condition and needs both medical and personal were discussed thoroughly. The whole time he was there, nothing indicated that they deviated away from his agreed treatment. His every need and request was acted upon in a timely manner and he also made some friends which was an unexpected bonus.
The staff were always friendly and helpful and constantly in attendance in the main area.
My father loved the food and snacks provided through the day.
Overall, the home made what was a difficult time, as easy and worry free as could be expected.

I would 100% recommend this home.

Although my mother-in-law was very hesitant and reluctant to stay at The Beeches Care Home, she thoroughly enjoyed her respite stay. The carers were lovely and she made friends quickly, telling everyone her life story and making everyone laugh with her wicked sense of humour. Thank ou to all for making it such a pleasant and smooth experience.

I visit The Beeches at least once per week and always feel welcome. I'm quite happy to see my brother looking so happy, contented and relaxed. He constantly says that he enjoys his food, sleeps well and hasn't a care in the world!

He also likes all the staff and looks clean and well dressed. I now feel quite happy to know that he is safe and secure, away from any danger.

My mother, who sadly now has dementia, was taken into the home for respite. We have now decided (the family) that her best interests are served by being in The Beeches permanently. The staff are lovely and the accommodation wonderful. We have not seen mum so settled and happy for a long time. We now know that she is safe and well cared for.

Thank you.

I would like to let you know how satisfied I am with the way my father has been treated from his arrival to the present day in The Beeches Care Home. I have never known my father to be so happy and contented always smiling now when I visit. He tells me it is like staying in a hotel and does not want to leave. Although he has dementia he is very clear on the way he is treated praising the staff and importantly the meals. I would like to say a big thankyou to everyone involved in my father's care.

Mum moved to the home after 2 months in hospital with severe kidney problems. Since May the staff have created for her a safe and caring environment, enabling mum to regain weight, put other health issues behind her and she now looks 10 years younger than she did last Christmas. The food is fine and varied, the bedrooms light and airy. It has taken time (and will take some more time) for mum to adjust from living independently for so long but the patience of staff is exemplary and nothing is too much trouble for them to make life easier for the residents. After nearly 6 months, I believe our family to be very grateful to the home for the care and services they provide, all contributing to a safe haven for an 85-year-old.

Could not expect any better service at Mum's 80th birthday party. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the arrangement and organisation of the party were excellent. The staff did not fault on anything.

My friend has been in this home for about 5 years until her passing on September 1st. She was always treated with respect and affection by all the staff members. They all did their best to keep her happy and contented, even making separate meals for her when she wouldn't eat.

In the days prior to her passing, each staff member took the time to sit with her and talk to her so she wasn't alone, something I really appreciate. I have no qualms in recommending The Beeches for all the love and care the staff give to their residents.

As soon as we walked in with my mum, we felt welcome (mum was in for respite). The food was good and plenty of it at different times. Went one day, a young lady had brought small animals in for residents to hold them if they wished. Our mum enjoyed this. Staff always welcoming and busy looking after residents. As I was going on holiday I felt a lot better leaving mum there. We went back to the Garden Party on the 17 June 2016, there was a singer on and everyone was joining in the singing, and a lovely buffet.

Dad and I struggled to keep him at home, dreading the idea of a care home. The Beeches has completely changed our thinking because the care is so individualized and the atmosphere so happy. Dad feels special because of the personal attention he receives. He has always been finicky with food but loves his meals. His room is bright and clean, his laundry taken care of and he has had a good haircut and foot care so he feels well-groomed. He has been taken out. He definitely wants to stay.

I think the staff work very hard, they have a lot of patience with the residents. The home is always fresh and clean. My husband enjoys the meals, and activities. We have enjoyed several parties at the home as a family, and have joined in with Bingo and singing sessions. All in all a lovely home.
