Thank you so much for your kind words and comments. We are delighted to hear how well your dad has settled into the home and how pleased you are with the care that he receives. Your review is much appreciated.
Cantley Grange Care Home is a lovely care home with wonderful staff. The staff are caring , helpful, competent and hardworking. Weekends seem to be challenging for the staff when they have to take on additional roles. Communication from the care home, about mum, was really good and they kept us up to date with everything. Food is generally really good, mum can be critical but overall she was happy with it. The activities , up to December , were great. However there is no one to do activities with the residents at present and it makes the days very long and repetitive. I'm sure the Care home are hoping to do something about this as the management are very good and work really hard to deliver a great service to the residents. All the staff interact with the residents and help each other . I think they are an excellent example of great teamwork.
Thank you for your review and kind words about the care your mum has received at Cantley Grange. In regards to your points raised about activities, we have now employed a new Activities Co-Ordinator, who will be getting to know all the residents over the next few weeks. During this process, they...
My dad has been a resident at Cantley Grange since Dec 2025. He has lots of needs. The staff are always friendly & helpful. In the main his needs are met. He is happy there. Its always clean. My only concern is that he doesn't join in any activities.
Thank you so much for your review and feedback of the care your dad has received at Cantley Grange. We are pleased to hear that your dad is happy and the positive comments about our team. In regards to activities, our Home Manager would be happy to discuss how we can tailor our activities programme to ensure your dad is involved and engaged.
I am satisfied my attention. Food is good. Staff is good.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home . I will of course share it with the Cantley Grange family.
Care is excellent. The staff are very polite.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home . It is really appreciated and I will of course share this with the Cantley Grange team .
I was devastated that my Dad needed a care home placement and was upset and worried. The staff at Cantley Grange could not have been kinder or more caring to both Dad and me at a time when we needed it most. It is a warm, friendly, homely environment and care is taken of all the residents. I would happily recommend it.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home . Your kind words are greatly apprecaited and I will of course share them with the Cantley Grange family .
The overall experience of the care home has been excellent in all areas: cleanliness, food, expertise of the staff and the facilities. The activities are well thought out and my mum enjoys them and can't wait to show me what she has been doing. The home provides the emotional support that she needs on a daily basis.
What a lovely review. Thank you, the team will be delighted to see this.
I preface this by saying I recognise there will always be difficult situations in care homes. In my experience, all issues raised have been dealt with professionally and with compassion. Aunty Anita's care place had to be revisited, and it was adjusted with the overriding thought being "This is her home - let's not move her" Brilliant!! Amendments made. She's safe.
Thank you for takingthe time to review our home . We are delighted how your Aunt has settled in and has found her forever home . Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course share them with the Cantley team
It's such a comfort to our family to know Mum is well looked after and cared for by the staff at Cantley Grange. She loves to keep occupied and enjoys the daily activities planned by the activity nurse. The staff are so genuine, friendly, courteous and caring. They help to make Mum feel safe and we are so relieved she has found a home she loves.
Thank you for choosing Cantley Grange for your Mum . She is a pleasure to care for . Yoru kind words are much appreciated and I will of course share them with the Cantley family .
The care my Mother received was poor on the whole. She was in for short term care (respite) for two weeks but in this short time, the issues were numerous. Her bed was regularly not made, towels not changed, breakfast was regularly served late and the food wasn't of a good standard. The care and support from staff was mixed, with some members of staff being absolutely lovely, but others not so. We raised a concern about a particular incident with my Mother, which we considered to be bullying by a member of staff, only to be told that the staff member concerned had provided a completely false version of events and it was clearly her word against ours. We were hoping this two week respite stay would be a pleasant experience for Mum, and would pave the way for her to enter residential care permanently. However, this has not proved to be the case and she is reluctant to even discuss going into care now.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that we take all concerns seriously. The matters you've raised have been thoroughly reviewed, as they do not reflect the high standards of care...
Whenever I visit my sister and sister in law who are in rooms next to one another I find the staff to be very professional very kind and always polite, even under difficult circumstances. How they keep the smile on their faces sometimes I'll never know. No grumbles from me at all just many thanks for the care they give.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley Grange family.
I am very happy with the care home and how the staff support my granny, respecting her culture and way of life, coming from the gypsy community. The staff are always professional and supportive. My aunt has settled in very well. I have noticed that she is much happier. She's made some new friends and enjoys the daily activities. The manager and staff are friendly, welcoming and caring and I'm very happy with the 24 hour care she is now receiving. I would highly recommend Cantley Grange to anyone looking for a 1st class care home.

Cantley Grange has looked after my mum only for a short time, accommodation and food very high standard. Managers are well-trained and experienced. The staff, from seniors, carers, cleaners and kitchen all have residents' well-being at first thought. The advice given has helped towards future care needs for her.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a pleasure to care for your Mum and we are delighted at how she has settled in. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley Grange team.
I can only say brilliant in every way from leadership to everyday experience.
Dear Carol, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley Grange team.
Absolutely first class, fantastic staff - would highly recommend.
My overall experience regarding this care home is extremely positive. I have observed throughout my visits that my partner appears relatively settled, cared for and not unduly stressed at all, however, I would like to raise one small issue - my partner's communication skills are almost nil so cannot convey her needs/wants to care staff involved. This is especially noticeable at meal times where she may need a little intervention/help in the future.
