In the past 2 years since my mum has lived at the home, she has been very happy and well looked after. She has benefitted from the company and the 24-hour care she has received. I can come and go as I please and leave her in such capable and kind hands.
Dear Karen, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mum. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley family.
I found this care home the best I have visited and I have visited a few. The staff are so helpful and kind, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and always tidy. Lots of activities to keep residents entertained. Overall, a fabulous care home.
Dear Sheila, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley Grange family.
Overall, care homes don't seem to get the recognition that some deserve, but I must say I was very impressed with the home as a whole and would certainly recommend. Keep up the good work.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your aunt and are delighted that your experience at Cantley Grange was such a positive one. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley family.
Delighted with the care in extremely advanced Alzheimer's.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service.
Your review is greatly appreciated and I will of course pass it to the manager and the team at Cantley Grange.
Extremely knowledgeable staff. I could not recommend or praise enough. This has been an emotional transition of my mother's dementia care but the help given to me has been superb. Special thanks to the manager and administrator.
Dear Joanne, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mum. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the manager and the Cantley Grange team.
Mum was originally staying for respite after flooding her home. She had been suffering from Alzheimer's and falling frequently. She was judged to be unsafe to go home and has stayed at Cantley Grange Care Home since then, two years ago. Her care has been nothing but kind, compassionate and professional in all this time. This last month she has suffered from a bad chest infection and the staff have looked after her so well. After a complication with medications that fell at the weekend the senior on duty spent hours on the phone to resolve the issue and ensured Mum was not without the antibiotics she needed. Knowing Mum is so well cared for takes so much stress out of a difficult situation. When I leave after a visit I never leave worried as the staff will always be in contact if they have concerns.
Dear Christine, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mum and are delighted that it gives you peace of mind knowing she is well cared for. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the manager and the Cantley Grange colleagues.
The manager/assistant manager and carers from first enquiries to looking after Mum have been very helpful and friendly. I do have to point out that some carers, not all, need to be more aware and understanding of individual needs and disability.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Your comments have been passed directly to the home and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss them further.
I'd like to start this review by saying a huge thank you to all the staff at Cantley Grange Care Home for looking after my dad earlier this year and making his last few weeks as comfortable as possible. My dad was in his early-90s when he was admitted to Cantley Grange; he was very frail and had several medical issues in addition to serious problems with his memory. Despite the challenge that posed, the care he was afforded whilst there was excellent. The staff treated him with respect and were very sensitive to his many personal and medical needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cantley Grange for care in later life and once again thank them for looking after my dad.
Dear Adrian, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was our pleasure to care for your father and he is sadly missed by the manager and the Cantley Grange colleagues. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Cantley team.
Finally, thanks to relaxing of the Covid problem, I can now visit my wife in her room and see inside the home for myself. I'm very happy with my wife's room and surroundings. Staff and manager are totalling pleasant and inform me if anything needs my attention.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure and privilege to care for your wife. Your kind words are greatly appreciated, and I will of course pass them on to the home manager and the colleagues at Cantley Grange .
This is the second time I have booked my mother into Cantley Grange for respite care and have been very impressed with the care she has received. When my mother's respite time was up, my mother decided that she wanted to stay indefinitely in the home. She feels safe and well looked after and part of a community. She became very lonely in her own home, so Cantley Grange has been a lifesaver.

Due to Covid-19, I have not been able to access the home. However, now I can see my wife, albeit briefly, it is more than evident that she is being well looked after.

I feel assured that Mum is receiving a very high standard of care. Mum instantly took to the caring, friendly staff, who were kind and respectful with her. The staff are very professional and approachable, they are informative and supportive. At this very difficult time of Covid, I feel mum is in a safe environment which is reassuring. The home is following the strict government guidelines, whilst still being sensitive to the emotional needs of our family and we are very thankful.

However, from what limited knowledge I have, everything seems to be satisfactory and I am eternally grateful to the staff during this horrible time in our lives.

I needed urgent respite care back in October for my dad. From the moment I contacted Cantley Grange I felt relief, they put the wheels in motion quickly and effectively and told me what to do. Staff are amazing, Dad is still in there due to a severe deterioration of his dementia. I am always informed promptly of any illness.

My father has been in Cantley Grange for 10 years. His own words are that he has been very content during this time. He has been allowed to live his slightly peculiar lifestyle in his own way and the staff have not been judgemental. There are good facilities available although my father chooses not to use them. I have always been contacted if there have been any problems and the staff are always polite and kind. They have worked extremely hard over the last 11 months to keep the residents safe in what must have been very challenging conditions. They have kept the residents and relatives informed. Thank you, all of you, for your very hard work.

My brother and I have felt totally supported by the management and staff at Cantley Grange. In recognising our father required round the clock care due to his advancing dementia and underlying health problems, we felt Cantley Grange offered the care requirements our father would need as his health problems progressed. We were offered emotional support with regard to dealing with the home's end of life policy, whereby all information was relayed to us in a respectful, dignified and professional manner. Focusing on this year, 2021 and the fact we have been unable to enter the home since March 2020, we are aware of the challenges the staff have faced in order to keep our most vulnerable loved ones safe and are indebted to them all.

The care home (Cantley Grange) is clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and obviously knew my mum well. Mum's room was lovely and ensuite. Mum liked the food and they offered to try to get anything specific she fancied when she first moved in. Due to Covid, there has only been telephone/video contact this year apart from a window visit, but staff were always accomodating about these calls. Mum always seemed at home at Cantley Grange. Thank you to everyone for her care.

We value all feedback as it helps us to improve our service where required. I will pass on your feedback to the team who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care. Many thanks, Tina.
My friend has been at Cantley Grange for three years now and is fully settled there. As her dementia has progressed, the extra care has been really good and I know she is well looked after and is happy, even though with Covid 19 we cannot visit at the moment. They keep me well informed on my friend's progress and the staff are really easy to talk to at any time. The home-cooked food is great and I would recommend Cantley Grange to care for any loved one.
