Our relative is well cared for. The staff are kind and very pleasant. Our only concern is that some of her clothes go missing but we can't fault the care. The new manager is already making a difference and putting clients first.
Thank you for your lovely review, it does mean so much to the team, and I will pass this on, feel free to come and hve a chat with me anytime, my door is always open, and I can addrss any concerns or issues you may have. thank you again.
I can't put into words how lovely this care home is, the staff are very welcoming, caring & friendly, my mum has settled in really well. There is always activities & events on, from school choirs, singers, themed days. Excellent care home x
Thank you so much for your lovely comments, and feedback this means so much to us, I will pass this onto the team. thank you again.
Absolutely terrible place never made feel welcomed at all, best thing I ever did was get my grandparents out of the jail. I feel ever so sorry for all the people who can't talk out people everybody be able to have a wash every day and 3 healthy meals a days they spend so much money to be in your care home to get 4 pound allowance each person and fed burnt to a crisp pizza to my grandfather who is on a level 6 diet management in Oldfield house is atrocious and is very unfair on the residents who can't speak out who all deserve the best. Unfortunately people should never have complaints if it's a good care home but all it ever was things popping up day by day then to be greeted by the very very unprofessional new manager who can't have a simple conversation with anyone without getting highly agitated day my nan and grandad will not be returning here as the care home has said and we are all very happy for that response I wouldn't like them to ever be paying to be jailed like the poor rest
We are sorry to hear that you feel your experience at Oldfield House has been a negative one. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, as we value all comments and continually use them to review and improve our services.
The safety, wellbeing, and protection of all residents at...
Roza, who does the activities at Oldfield, is absolutely brilliant. She always has lots of ideas on craft/activities and works very hard with and for the residents. She's a very dedicated member of staff and the residents love doing activities with Roza. She also sometimes does care functions. Having become a regular volunteer at Oldfield, I've realised how much time it can take to do such activities with the residents and its not easy, as they are all at different levels, in terms of abilities, skills, memory, patience etc. I think Roza does an incredible job and her caring, enthusiastic nature us very plain to see. She is an asset to the team at Oldfield.
This is fantastic! Roza is a brilliant member of staff. Very kind, creative, dedicated, caring and hardworking. She is indeed valued by all our residents. Her work speaks for itself. Thank you for this amazing review. I will let her know x
Overall good lovely staff great management food good know my dad is safe and well looked after. Entertainment great always there to please and keep service users happy giving regular exercise which is greatly needed only downfall place is a bit run down but to me the quality of care is main priority
Thank you for giving us such a positive review and for appreciating everything we do for your dad. He enjoys the activities, and it is always amazing to see him so happy. He's made some friends and has settled in so well. Kindest Regards, Team Oldfield xx
My mum is a resident at this care home. Very happy with the standards of care at Oldfield. The staff here are lovely and friendly. Very friendly atmosphere. All the residents enjoy lots of daily activities. A weekly hairdresser makes all the residents feel amazing. Regular day trips are planned and there are individual activities customised to each resident. Food always smells lovely. Domestic staff work really hard to deliver a clean and fresh home with each resident's bedroom cleaned daily and regular checks made. Communal areas are kept to a high standard. I would recommend the home to anyone who is looking for somewhere for a loved one.
Thank you for a lovely review. Its always a pleasure looking after your mum. She's such a character and we love everything about her xx
I do not have any issues no issues with the care my mum receives if I do the staff act very quick. What a good care home we chose this one because it was nice and quiet as my mum doesn't like a lot of noise
Oh where do we even start with you? We would like to thank you for all the beautiful decorations you do for us. All our events look amazing because of all your hard work. Thank you so much, for being you, for being there for your mum and for making time for us. With love, Oldfield House Team.

My mum has been here for the last 2 years, and the care has been amazing, the staff have always been the best with my mum, especially the Deputy Manager, Chloe. Mum has Alzheimer's and they understand how she is feeling.
Thank you for such a thoughtful review. Very kind indeed. It is always a pleasure to look after your mum. She has built such a beautiful relationship with the staff and other residents. She participates in all activities and she is very happy here. Kindest Regards, Team Oldfield House xx
When visiting my father, the atmosphere is always calm and relaxed. The staff are always on hand when needed for all residents and visitors even when they are busy they will make the time. Lots of activities are always provided to keep the residents occupied which is good to break the long days up. Everywhere is kept so clean and tidy.

I find the staff are caring, kind and go above board to help the residents and their families. If you have a little problem it's solved straight away with no fuss. The meals are lovely, the home is over all a five star to me personally.

I feel very comfortable leaving my mam in the care of both management and care staff at Oldfield House.
I would recommend anyone to apply for their loved one to become a resident.
Thank you very much for your review. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to complete this.
I asked the handyman if he would paint a feature wall and put up a new picture and some flower decorations; this has been done, and I am well impressed. Well done, handyman.
We are so glad you are happy with your mum's bedroom.
Thank you Oldfield House for your care and patience you have given our mother and her family. She has improved immensely with your love and support, thank you once again. The staff are always supportive and welcoming which is much needed in the beginning when everyone is nervous of the unknown.
The care home is lovely, the staff are excellent, and my mother is looking better than she has looked for a long time, if she hadn't gone in there when she did I don't think she would be with us now. Thanks to the staff they have made my mum look 10 years younger and a lot healthier, thank you.
Honestly cannot thank the staff enough. Been to visit my Nanna today and every member of the staff spoke and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much for them. They really do go out there way for everyone in the care home and for the families that come to visit. Thank you everyone for making us all feel very welcome.
Since he's been at Oldfield House Care Home, I've seen a completely different side to Dad. I am eternally grateful to the staff for everything they are doing for my dad. I believe he couldn't have gone to a better place, thank you all again.
