Thank you for writing a review for Moorgate Croft.
Carers and management take all the time needed to make mum feel safe and secure. They notice small changes in mum's abilities as her illness progresses, and implement strategies to assist her more as needed. When a hospital appointment was organised, the staff didn't hesitate to arrange transport etc so everything could run smoothly. Thank you.

Always made welcome when we visit, staff are lovely and professional. Meg loves it at Moorgate Croft and we are so glad she has settled. Her quality of life is so much better than she had living on her own.

From the day mum arrived at Morrgate Croft the staff have been welcoming, helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they are a happy and friendly group of carers. Mum settled in quickly and loves it! She loves all the activities, has made lots of new friends and thinks the staff are wonderful and that they look after her very well and always have time for her! Thank you. Would happily recommend!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Moorgate Croft. The staff will really appreciate your positive comments.
Moorgate Croft is an outstanding care home. Everyone from the cleaners to management are friendly, helpful and kind. When Dad moved there in November the staff encouraged him to eat in the dining room and join in the many, varied activities which helped him to settle in and socialise with new people. As Dad deteriorated, the staff worked hard to meet his needs while maintaining his dignity and this enabled him to stay there in comfort until he sadly passed away. Moorgate Croft was not only his home but ours as well and the care they showed Dad also extended to us as a family. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Thank you for writing such a positive review at this difficult time. I know the staff and Home Manager will appreciate your kind words.
Mum has settled in really well. All the staff have been attentive , caring and supportive. Mum has been encouraged to take part in daily activities which has really helped with making friends and socialising.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Moorgate Croft. I am so pleased to hear that your mum has settled in at the home and will pass your positive comments on to the staff and Home Manager.
Attractive, well-maintained care home, both inside and out. Good size bedrooms, corridors and recreation rooms. All staff from first contact, ongoing care, to any finance issues have been helpful, supportive and excellent. Security is very good, with family visits always welcome at any time. Whilst the cost of any care home will always be an issue, this care home was very good value.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Moorgate Croft Care Home. Your feedback is valuable to us and I will share this with the home and the manager.
New transfer to Moorgate Croft. Very impressed with how welcoming and helpful all the staff have been. They are happy to talk to family members to discuss issues and solutions. They have encouraged my father-in-law to get out of bed and join in activities. Plus sat in the dining room. Excellent range of activities available - should cater to everyone's interests.
Thank you for your positive review for Moorgate Croft. I am so pleased that your father in law is settling so well.
Moorgate Croft is an excellent care home. The bedrooms are spacious and ensuite. There is a good dining room and lounge with a kitchen that guests can also use. There is a regular programme of activities and the entertainment organiser works very hard to encourage residents to participate. All the staff are very caring and always available to help with any questions we have or items we require. The food options are good and there is adequate parking for visitors. Highly recommended.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. I know the staff and manager will appreciate your kind words.
1. An environment in which they fit in.

3. A warm environment/management - who listen.
4. Staff who are good and helpful.
5. Good food with variety.
6. Access when required to medical help.

Moorgate Croft excels at all these.

The food offered is really good and plenty of it. Activities arranged for the residents is amazing and the organiser excels all expectations. The rooms are cleaned regularly, which is important. Manager, listen to you. I have no doubt this is one of the best care homes in the country.

The staff at this care home are polite, knowledgeable and compassionate about their work. They always have a smile and nothing is too much trouble for them, any concerns are dealt with swiftly. They went above and beyond when auntie was on end of life and shed tears with the family members. The room was prepared very respectfully and peacefully for end of life, and a member of staff was there when family wasn't. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff there.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review at such a difficult time. The staff and manager do appreciate your kind words.
Took excellent care of my great aunty. She was very particular about her likes and dislikes at home, and they tried to accommodate her as best they could, which we are aware was out of their way, and we really appreciate it. My aunty came to like her time spent there doing various activities and making a few close new friends. Forever appreciative.Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. I am so pleased that your aunt was happy at Moorgate Croft.
My aunt was a resident in Moorgate Croft for just over 2 years until she passed away in March 2025. We were very happy with the care provided. My aunt was so happy living here, the manager and her staff were so kind and caring and were a credit to the organisation. During the time my aunt was a resident, we never had any worries or concerns. Thank you on behalf of our family for taking such good care of her.
Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review. I know the staff and manager at the home will be motivated by your kind words.
Mum has moved into Moorgate Croft in the past 3 weeks and has settled really well. This is down to the excellent welcome she has received. The staff are very caring, kind and positive. There are lots of activities which mum has joined in, and her room is spacious and nicely decorated. We are very pleased overall.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for the home. I am so pleased that your mother has settled so well.
The staff are approachable, caring and considerate towards the residents. I am informed of any issues or changes in my father's health. I am highly satisfied with care my father receives.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. The staff appreciate your kind words.
She sometimes states she now as an extended family, by that I mean the staff treat her like one of their own.
There are plenty of outings and activities organised by the staff.
Every member of the team are approachable and caring nothings too much trouble.
I remember first visiting Moorgate Croft with my mum over a year ago and a family of one of the residents said to me you will not go wrong here for the care of your mum. That says it all for me.
Thank you for taking the time to review Moorgate Croft and I am so pleased that your mum is so settled in the home. We will share your kind words with the staff.
In the 4 1/2 years my mother was in Moorgate Croft she was given the best possible care on all levels and staff coped admirably as her dementia progressed. Leaving her totally dependent on them for all her needs. We her family were truly appreciative of the care and attention given to her and we were content to know that at all times she was in a safe and secure environment with round the clock care.
Thank you for taking the time to add such a positive review for the care home. I know the manager and the staff team will appreciate your kind words.
My mum has been a resident of Moorgate Court for nearly one year. The care she has received has been outstanding. Cast staff are attentive and always make sure residents have a drink. Staff all and treat residents with respect. Mum has had a couple of medical issues recently. She got seen and treated quickly due to the diligence of the staff and management. I know Mum is looked after very well and she appears to be happy.
The home is so welcoming the staff are lovely and very professional at all times.
The manager is amazing, she has supported and made the transition for my aunty so much easier to stay in the home and be happier.
