Anchor's Sandholme Fold is located in a quiet residential area of Hipperholme. Residents are welcome for friendly residential and dementia care.
It is close to the centre of Halifax, with good transport links to surrounding areas, and near green spaces such as Woodhead Park and Shibden Park. Sandholme Fold also benefits from its own private grounds.
Meals are cooked fresh and from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients where possible by...

Meals are cooked fresh and from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients where possible by a highly trained Chef Manager and kitchen staff. Daily, weekly and monthly activities are arranged based on resident input, including music and visiting entertainers.
Residents can access services such as hairdressing in the home, and care is tailored to each person. The team receive regular training to ensure tailored care. Care plans are held on digital devices to ensure these can be updated quickly.
Anchor reinvests any surplus income into the care and housing provided for older people.

Overall Experience
All the care staff are fabulous. There is nothing they will not do in terms of care for my Mum. Mum says meals are not too bad. The puddings are lovely. Mum is treated with respect and dignity.

My mother was a resident at Sandholme Fold for 3 months. In her time there she was treated with the utmost respect by all the staff. The home is well managed and run. It is clean, bright and welcoming. There are always plenty of activities arranged for the residents. Families are welcome to visit...
