Care afforded to my uncle since his residency began in January 2017 was wonderful and always respectful of his needs.
This care continued until he passed away 7th November 2018.

The additional care during the last week of his life was second to none.

Mum has been in Acacia Court for 3 months now, we have no complaints about the care mum has been given. She is joining in activities and eating better than she has in years. We have found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and the home is always clean when we visit. It was a massive decision moving mam into a care home but we feel we picked the best in the area with Acacia Court!!

The day to day care of my mother is excellent. She always looks clean and is clearly comfortable and settled. Her room is spotless as is the rest of the home and I find the staff very caring and always treating residents with dignity.

My one small criticism is that communication between staff is sometimes lacking and my enquiries have had a slow response.

My grandma has been a resident for over five years. The care provided is excellent, the staff are wonderful, there just sometimes doesn't seem to be enough of them.

There are various enrichment activities provided and events for residents and relatives. More varied food menus would be welcomed, but overall a caring place to be with staff who always put the residents first.

My Mother and I have had a very positive start to her residency. The staff are extremely helpful and caring, they go beyond their remit to ensure Mum is comfortable and happy. I cannot say enough about this care home. Thank you so much.

Mum receives the best care and attention we could have wished for. The staff are excellent being most friendly, caring and attentive, nothing is too much for them and all have mum's best interest to heart. We are blessed to have found such a place for mum to spend her later years and feel most secure that she is looked after to such a degree in our absence.

The care my father received during his stay at Acacia Court was excellent. Every staff member, from carers to cleaners were kind and friendly. They took the time to talk and share memories. My father was listened to and his wishes taken into account as much as possible. He died in May and his end of life care was excellent. He was treated with love and dignity. He was comfortable and pain-free and his family were welcomed and cared for too. Thank you to everyone at Acacia Court.

I wish to thank the manager and all her staff for all the effort they have put into organising the celebration for my mother's 100th birthday. A really good singer was arranged to entertain the residents in the afternoon, followed by a special buffet and a birthday cake.

The staff showed a huge amount of support and love to my mother and made her day extremely special and memorable. Thank you to the manager.

My mum came to Acacia Court in September 2016, living there until she passed away in January 2017. She moved from Liverpool, where she had lived all of her life until it became apparent that she was no longer able to live independently. She settled in easily and quickly. This was due in no small part to the professionalism of the staff and management. The care staff were always caring and attentive to my mother's needs and were ably supported by their management team who were always approachable and attentive.

My Dad's transfer from his own home to Acacia Court Care Centre couldn't have gone better. The staff welcomed him and he warmed immediately to the wonderful, friendly, homely, caring atmosphere of the home. He loves the room, the food and their care and attention. He has a named carer who looks after his every need, plus his family are welcome, visitors are included in every aspect of his life.

Our mum came to the home following a stay at Wheatfields Hospice Leeds. After settling into her room she quickly made good friends with other residents and especially all the staff. She felt comfortable and relaxed at the home and spoke highly of the staff who cared for her. The family were therefore very appreciative of all the efforts of the staff. One staff member even brought in a newly born baby for mum to see and enjoy. Thank you very much.

Acacia Court has recently got a new manager and I have to say it has made a huge difference to both myself and my mother. She is kind, efficient and friendly! Mother would not be happy if she were in Buckingham Palace so I guess we have to be thankful for small mercies. I feel the room requires refurbishing and the food could be more interesting. I do bring 2 treats every week for her. The staff are very caring and I feel mother is lucky in a lot of ways.
