I wasn't expecting to stay but the care is brilliant. It is very homely and the staff make sure we have everything we need. I enjoy the company and I have a lovely room that now has all things from home. I'm very happy and comfortable here.

The care and human kindness at the home is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and everybody is so friendly and helpful, will answer any questions or concerns we have, and do their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

My dad moved in 3 weeks ago and it’s like he’s lived there all his life! I can’t tell you how incredible the staff have been from day one. They have welcomed him with open arms and have been very accommodating to all his needs. I take my dad out 3 times a week and he speaks so highly of everyone there. The food is amazing and is looked after so well. The manager has gone above and beyond keeping us up to date with everything and allowing us to video call when visits were not allowed due to the isolation period. She really put our minds at ease and I know we’ve made the right choice choosing Acacia Court Care Centre. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Our Mum became a resident at Acacia Court in December 2019. The carers and staff look after Mum with patience and kindness, which really helped her as she adapted and settled in. Mum's room is lovely with a nice view of the garden, the facilities are good, there is a lovely lounge where they have activities, music and singing, TV, etc. The food is really good and Mum especially loves meal times! Mum's health has deteriorated over the last year, being diagnosed with Dementia plus having an on-going anxiety condition. With Covid and the restrictions in care homes, it has been a very hard period for all of us. I can't praise the staff and carers highly enough for all their dedication, care and just going the extra mile to keep Mum and everyone safe and well. Mum has been amazing to get through these times but she couldn't have coped without the wonderful, caring helpful staff who always do their best and with a smile! Want to say a huge thank you to all at Acacia Court for providing such wonderful care.

I had my first visit with mum indoors. How lovely. The care home was very well organised to receive visits. A positive experience. However, after 5 years some of the carers have not mastered her hearing aids.

Mum went into Acacia Court on the day all care homes went into lockdown, 12.03.2020.
So it has been difficult for mum and family to adjust to this new norm, but all the staff and management team work tirelessly to ensure mum is safe and well cared for, nothing seems too much trouble. The greeting from all staff members is very friendly, genuine and warm, they care and treat her with the utmost dignity. It is still a difficult time for the team at Acacia Court the residents, family, and friends, but this is managed well.

Visiting is well regulated and under the current circumstances due to bad weather and wind, they make every effort to ensure everybody is able to visit their loved ones. Communication is good and keeping us informed of any changes to mum's condition or the need for a doctor's visit is instant. We are very happy with the care mum is receiving.

My grandfather was in Acacia Court on respite during July 2020. All the care staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely choose Acacia Court next time he requires care again. The care home felt like home from home.

The staff and management at Acacia Court have been excellent during this COVID-19 pandemic. Safety of residents is their number one priority. It has been a difficult time for all, but they have been very communicative about what's been happening with my Nan. We are very happy with the care she receives. Thank you.

I moved into the centre in December 2019. At first, I was a bit concerned about everything; I suppose this was just natural. But now I have settled in I find Acacia Court a smashing place to live. I find the staff very helpful and kind. The food and facilities are excellent and I think I will be very happy here.

When we first came to visit this care home the manager and all the staff were extremely nice, very efficient plus showed true empathy to our situation. One of the carers is such a pleasure to talk to "always has a smile" and so kind to the residents. You have the perfect staff at Acacia Court. The manager shows such a caring generous nature/attitude.

A well-run home with a generally youthful staff who are kind and caring. Residents are treated with kindness and respect. Activities are varied and stimulating and the visit by local nursery children evolves fun and a spirit of inclusiveness by most of the residents. We are very happy with the care our mother receives and would recommend Acacia Court to anyone looking for a local care home.

I entered the home at the end of November 2018. The last place I thought I would need. It took some time to settle in as I was angry at the fact I had to sell my house to afford to stay. I got a lovely room and I could bring in anything from home. The staff are wonderful, they call in and talk to me as I can't get out because I'm on oxygen 24/7. The new manager is doing an excellent job - nothing is too much trouble for her. She always speaks as she passes my door which is always open. The food is good.
