I find the care home with a good atmosphere, everyone seems very comfortable.

The carers are wonderful with the residents, very caring and professional.

The staff and management are very helpful. Any information I request is always given in an understanding way.

Hi, what's going on at this place?
New managers aloof and hasn't even met the residents yet after taking over.
I took my friend out last week and was not told his medication had been changed.
His head was nodding all the time which is not him at all.
Only found out this week that his pills had changed.
Should have been warned (with his permission).
Staff leaving and happy to rely on agency staff running the place (managers view).
Previous experience with agency staff is very bad when another friend was in care.

No care skills. Do not or can not read notes and do not speak good (or any) English.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are sorry that you were not advised of medication changes. Please be assured that staff changes are being monitored and some staff have returned. The Home does not routinely use agency and we are actively recruiting into any vacant hours.

My mum has been a resident since December 2017. I am very happy with the home, it is clean, warm and the staff are wonderful, however, it is concerning quite a few have left in the last few months.

My only complaint is the food. Mum says it’s terrible, often cold and inedible.

I have been a resident for nearly 2 years and during that time the standard has slipped. This in no way reflects on the staff, who in some ways seem to be fighting a losing battle, sad to say, with the company who manage this home! The company seem to put their side instead of the staff.

My father has stayed at this home for 16 days and cannot wait to get home for decent food. The rooms and staff are all very nice but the food severely lets the home down.

My mum has been at Airedale for three years. Sadly she passed away recently but she loved the time she spent there. It was very reassuring, as a family, that she was happy, safe and well looked after. We cannot thank the staff enough, especially in her last few days, for their kindness and support. They were all wonderful.

I am a regular weekly visitor and I have always had a warm welcome from all the staff. They treat me like a friend.
No matter how busy they are I always get treated with a smile and a kind word for which I'm very grateful.

Thank you all.

To all staff, just to say a massive thank you to everyone for the care you have given to my auntie whilst she was a resident at Airdale. Also, thank you for the compassion and support given to us over the last year. It meant a great deal knowing that she was safe, happy and very well looked after.

Fondest wishes to you all.
