The staff have always been very caring.
When nobody is looking I've been known to lick my plate after stews as the gravy can't be wasted.
The staff are always friendly and polite. I look on them as my friends not just cooks. Keep up the good work. Well done.
Many thanks for leaving such a lovely review. I’m delighted that the food meets your expectations and that the staff are seen as friends.
Kind Regards,
Jennie Wright,Care Home Manager.
I am a solicitor specialising in the legal affairs of very elderly clients. I have visited very many care homes over the years and I can honestly say that Lofthouse Grange & Lodge is the best. The staff are super friendly, helpful and unflappable. Whilst I am not at crisis point yet with my 85-year-old mother, Lofthouse Grange & Lodge would be the only care home I would consider.
Many thanks for the lovely review. We're delighted to hear such lovely feedback and do hope you visit the home again. Kind regards, Jennie Wright, Interim Care Manager
My Husband complained of chest pain's, Lofthouse Grange acted quickly to get him the right medical help. They sent a carer with him to stay with him in hospital and kept me in touch at all times. I had been discharged from hospital myself that day and was unable to help. I felt confident that everything was being taken care of and that was a great relief.

I understand it must be very difficult things getting moved but everything is marked with her room number.
Kind regards Kirsty James, Home Manager.
Where do I start? Every aspect of my late father's care was attended to in the most efficient, timely and caring manner. Every member of staff was kind, considerate and treated Dad (and the other residents) with the utmost respect and courtesy. They are a credit to their profession and to the company - my father was privileged to spend his last days here. Thank you.
The events team are always organising and fundraising - especially Halloween!
My mum is very happy living here.
My father was a resident of Lofthouse Lodge from November 2011 until April 2014 and because I was so pleased with the care he received there, I applied to do some voluntary work there. Upon acceptance, I started in November 2014 and am still working there presently.
Kind regards, Kirsty James, Home Manager.
My mum was taken to the care home at the beginning of February, she had the onset of dementia. My mum's care, while she was in the home, was brilliant. Any problems were ironed out very quickly and the quality of care from the care assistants was fantastic. We would like to commend all staff for the way they looked after Mum. Superb! Sadly, my mum died on 24th October.

The carers are all really nice and very caring and I am really happy with the home.
I think the care home manager could be a little more friendly as most of the residents and families don't know who the manager is!
They could just do with more carers instead of using agency staff.

We are pleased to read that you are happy with the home for your mum, as we strive to provide the best care possible...
My father was a little unsettled when he first went into Lofthouse Grange but thanks to the patience of the staff he has now settled in and is happy there.

I would pick this care home for respite every time. Staff could not do enough for my dad and me. They made it feel like a big family, so welcoming. I can't thank you for all. What a home, if I was to go into a home it would be this one.
