I was made to feel welcome from day 1. Carers couldn't be anymore caring. Good home-cooked food. Nothing is too much trouble. It has given my son peace of mind that I am safe and have the care and support I need.

Brantwood is a small friendly care home, so mum doesn't feel overwhelmed by too many people. Mum gets very confused as to where things are so being small really helps her. The staff are very friendly and in the main seem to really care about everyone's wellbeing.

All the staff are very caring and friendly. The manager is excellent. Always friendly and professional. Since my friend has been in Brantwood Hall (2 years), he is the best manager so far.

My friend is very happy at Brantwood. The staff have been upbeat and kind especially since lockdown. They have kept my friend happy and safe. I am very pleased with all aspects of the care. Thank you to all the staff.

Brantwood Hall Care Complex has been excellent during the COVID crisis in keeping residents safe, despite government intransigence. My relative appears well looked after by all staff and managers.

A very welcoming care home. Friendly staff, caring and professional. good leadership (the Manager). A generally happy atmosphere amongst the manager, staff, and residents. Lots of activities for the residents and staff seemed to go the extra mile. Very compassionate to relatives, especially during the end of life care for the resident.

This care home has a very homely feel to it and this can be felt the moment you walk in. The staff and management are attentive and caring towards the residents and families whatever their role is at the home.

Mum has been in the home since July 2019 and has formed some very good bonds with the staff, they treat her with dignity and respect even at times when her behaviour is more challenging.

My father has been a resident for the past 18 months and had respite weeks prior to him moving into the care home. A big plus for me is management and staff. They treat my father with dignity and also his relatives when they visit. It is near for me to visit. The home is well run and my father always seems happy.

I have visited my Mum in Brantwood for eight years. She wanted to be in Brantwood after she went in for a two weeks respite after being in hospital after a mini-stroke. After returning back to her apartment in Wakefield she became very depressed. She missed Brantwood so much. Her social worker has managed to get her in permanently!

The home is very welcoming and treats all residents as individuals.
Each resident has a different coloured door giving the feel of having their own front door.
The residents are given choices at all meal times with all food freshly cooked.
My mum feels that she is well looked after and enjoys joining in with the social side of the home like knitting and natter sessions, bingo.
The home also organises supervised group trips out for lunch to various places mum has been out a few times and has enjoyed this.
The present management has made good improvements including changing a room on the ground floor into a hair salon where it gives the residents a feeling of actually going to the hairdressers in a relaxed atmosphere.

I would recommend Brantwood to anyone who is looking for a care home for their elderly family.

Recently my mother passed away while being a resident at Brantwood for 3 years, in this time she was given the best care, medication and attention money can buy from the approachable caring and professional staff. The food is of a high standard and after a short while mum started to gain weight but this was not a problem......mum's demise started gradually from dementia and in April of this year she passed away, the staff and management were very sympathetic and even attended her funeral, keep up the great work Brantwood and we will still visit from time to time to see the other residents we made friends with over the years.
