My husband stays at Vicarage Court to enable me to have a break from providing his care. I have found all the staff there at every level friendly but professional. I feel comfortable when I am in the home and am confident that my husband is being cared for and looked after.

The care and kindness shown to my father whilst a resident in the dementia unit was better than anything we could have imagined. The staff went above and beyond their duty.

As with previous periods of respite care my latest stay was made most comfortable by the caring and attentive staff at all levels. Nothing was too much trouble when attending to my needs, or those of my visitors.

My mum went to Vicarage Court to receive end of life care. She was treated with compassion and dignity up to the very end. All staff are very caring and do their utmost for the residents.

Communication between shift change could be improved as I found myself repeating the same thing to 4 different nurses, but whenever I asked for anything it was done immediately.

The whole team lives and breathes the philosophy that they work in "Dad's home". They work together to build a new community for residents. Dad's health and positive attitude have grown and improved since he moved in and he feels valued. Thank you to the whole Vicarage Court team.

We are over the moon with all the care and help that my sister gets and how well she is looked after.
The activities are really good and a lot of thought and effort goes into this.

It's all the little things that matter and they all add up to making my sister's stay enjoyable.

Thank you for taking such good care of my mum whilst my husband recovers from surgery. It has been a hectic time for me and to know that mum is so comfortable here is such a relief. She usually stays when we go on holiday and always tells me how lovely and caring the staff are. Mum rarely makes new memories now but she can remember her stays here. It takes a lot of stress away knowing they are here for us when we need them.

My step mum has been resident for seven years as her condition has deteriorated. The level of care required has always increased to meet her needs.

Staff are always caring and thoughtful.

There aren't words to convey the depth of gratitude our family have for the love and care given to Mum. The staff bore her fear and distress and gave her care and support in return; this has been priceless to us always, and especially as her dementia progressed. We have witnessed throughout their compassion and professionalism during her five and a half years there. In addition to this the staff have offered me honesty and warmth; a time to laugh and to cry. I will always hold their generosity of spirit in my heart. I'm grateful to them all for carrying us through a very emotional ride.

The staff and facilities are second to none. The staff are caring and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. They made my stay much more pleasant than the circumstances which made it necessary would dictate.

Vicarage Court is a well organised, welcoming care home. It has a warm and friendly environment and we feel my mum is safe and well cared for here. There are various activities/groups to join in with. The building layout means the residents have a choice of areas to spend their time in and this is also important for visitors. There is a large conservatory looking out towards the garden area. The food is of a high standard and communications between staff and family are excellent.

We visited a number of care homes and tried a couple for a short-term stay before deciding on Vicarage Court Care Home. One major plus point is that the building is large so residents are not cramped.

Rooms are well designed and comfortable and frequently cleaned. Staff are friendly and attentive to the residents and bring information on residents activities to visiting relatives.

The staff are very friendly to both my mother in law and our family and friends. She is well looked after and we feel she is happy there. I cannot praise the staff enough for all their kindness and care. A special thank you to the unit manager who I think goes above and beyond her duties to get the right treatment for all her residents.

I am very happy in this home. We are all well taken care of by the carers I am very happy to know that we have the care of a fully qualified nurse twenty-four hours a day and am very happy with the medical care I receive here. The carers here are magnificent and live up to their name of being carers.
