The Olde Coach House have an open door policy 7 days a week to all visitors but do have protected meals times for an 1.5 hrs at 8:30 and 11:30 and 4:30 every day, so ask that you avoid these unless you would like to eat with your family member.

I just wanted to let you know and hopefully clear the incontinence pads issue up, the letter regarding this was this February 2017. This unfortunately is an NHS issue as we have to wait for incontinence nurse to visit the home which is out of our control when and how often this happens. Your mum is definitely on her list for when she comes.
Next time you are in the home you can chat with a manager or Senior where you think we can improve in regards to the Admin and liaising as we always happy to hear comments.

As the care home Manager and Owner, Elaine Bismor is a very hand’s on Manager who believes that a Care home should always feel warm, inviting.
Elaine has worked in the care industry all her working life, and has been involved in the Old Coach House for over 30 years and now owns the home with her family. Her previous role was as a nurse at Hull Royal Infirmary.
In her job role Elaine has the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the home and to make sure the residents are receiving the best care possible at all times by being a proactive hands on manager. Elaine manages the staff team to a very high standard ensuring that home meets and exceeds the various demands of inspection and all regulations.
Elaine has a string qualifications including but not limited to:
Nursing degree
NVQ’s in health and social care level 4
City and Guilds Registered Manager Award Level 4
End of life Care Level 5
Safeguarding of adults
Various dementia awareness courses
She is also one of our dignity champions for the home
I have worked in the home for 16 years. I am a trained accountant and HR specialised and hold an NVQ in health and social care and other management qualifications.
I am part of running the day-to-day business future-proofing the business for years to come.
