We have been really pleased with the care our Mum has received since arriving at the home in April 2023.
The team are caring and attentive to Mums needs and nothing is ever too much trouble.
They try to encourage Mum to participate and join in when activities are happening and don’t give up on her when she declines - she needs encouragement!

The home is clean, bright and airy and very well staffed.

I have no experience with other residential homes so based on what I see here, the standard appears to be adequate.

The Olde Coach House is exactly the right environment to meet the current needs of my mother-in-law. In terms of size and facilities, it has enabled her to transfer from home to assisted living. Providing excellent care for the safety, security and support with all personal care and regular meals and encouragement of fluid intake. There is always someone to provide reassurance and ensure all health needs are met. The staff are friendly and welcoming, this has helped us to adjust to these changes for Mum.

We have found The Olde Coach House to be well managed with a caring team. Staff are always aware of my father's needs and communicate well with us, particularly after a GP review. Staff are always available for visitors and are very attentive to residents. We are very confident that The Olde Coach House meets his care needs. The environment is very homely and relaxed.

The Old Coach House is extremely well maintained. There is rigorous infection control from the front door onward which is reassuring. The staff were a pleasure to meet. The attitude was positive, caring, kind and focused.

I am happy with everything that you do in the home and feel the people in there are well looked after and cared for. The only problem I was not too happy with was the tv in her room had a very bad signal and could not find more than one channel.

Mum moved into the Olde Coach House in January this year. We chose this care home on reports and recommendations from the local community we have never regretted our choice. The staff are friendly and positive they make great efforts to provide activities and mark special occasions, such as birthdays and the Queen's Jubilee. The home is immaculately clean and Mum says the food is very good. We want to thank all the staff for the excellent job you do.

My husband has been a very happy resident since January 2022. He is so well looked after. I don't have to worry about him at all, which is a weight off my mind as I am unable to take care of him.
I have met the care team and they are so very kind and caring. When I asked my husband if he
is happy his reply was 'Oh yes. It's magic.' I think that says it all. Thank you all for your wonderful

care. I know he is very fond of you all. We couldn't have found a better care home or carers if we had tried.

Our mum has been in the Priory since February 2022. Our mum was made welcome from day one, as has the family and we have no worries about the care and dignity our mum is given. The staff are outstanding and the home is immaculate.

My father has been a Coach House resident for 6+ years. The home continues to provide very good quality care to my father, as it did to my mother who passed there in 2017. Staff are responsive, pleasant & helpful & treat my father as an individual, with his own needs. The management regularly upgrades the building to higher standards. Residents requiring more intensive care have their own sitting/dining area. This means that residents with less intensive care needs, like my father, are looked after in a more relaxed & less stressful environment. Senior carers/care assistants/admin & kitchen staff are all helpful & approachable. There is inevitably some staff turnover but new & existing staff are well trained, staffing levels appear to be good and staff have a real interest in meeting residents' needs & requirements. Our family know my father is well cared for. We recommend the Coach House as a safe & caring care home, which also performed well during Covid.

The Coach House has become a new home for my mum, following a fall. She settled in very quickly and is full of praise for the staff who create a happy, friendly and safe environment. She has made friends with the staff and other residents. I, therefore, feel relaxed knowing that she is happy and well looked after. She is always talking about the various activities that take place on a daily basis. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, I have been unable to have a walk around the Coach House but was sent lots of photographs by the Manager to give me an idea of what the Coach House is like inside and my mum's room in particular - which is excellent.

Reply from Laura Bismor, Manager at The Olde Coach House

Thank you, Sue, for the lovely review - we really appreciate your kind words and we love having your mum as part of our home. We can't wait until we can have everyone in for a big party like we used to. Have a lovely Christmas.
