I have nothing but high praise for the care home, they are doing an excellent job, and the staff are so understanding and caring. Although my partner is in bed, he is constantly being monitored and cared for, and I am so grateful for it.

Our mum has been at The Olde Coach House care home for four and a half years. During these years, mum has continued to receive excellent care from all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff to make sure all of mums care needs are met. Staff are so friendly and caring, always cheerful and chatty when we visit. Huge thank you to you all.

Relief that mum is content and socialised on the days she attends the centre. She says the food is lovely and can't believe how much she eats whilst there. The staff are caring, friendly and professional and take time to relate to mum, despite dementia. Always seem to have partaken in some activity.

The Old Coach House provides good quality care to its residents. My father has been a resident for over four years, as was my late mother. Staff are responsive, helpful and pleasant.

The home has been upgraded and considerably improved over the last year with its common rooms completely refurbished to a much higher standard. Residents requiring a more intensive level of care e.g for dementia, now have their own sitting/dining area meaning that residents with less intensive care needs are in a more relaxed and less stressful environment with separate sitting and dining areas. Resident activities have also been improved with two activity co-ordinators.

Kitchen staff are responsive to resident meal/food preferences and provide a good service within their inevitable budgetary constraints.

There is some staff turnover but overall staffing levels appear to be good and staff have a real interest in meeting residents’ needs and requirements.

I am deeply impressed and touched at the care and warmth that is lavished on the residents here. Mum has been given a new lease of life since she came to the care home, so thank you to everyone concerned!

The points below I haven't crossed are just areas that I cannot comment on.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my husband receives at The Olde Coach house care home. We are impressed by the number of carers, who always shave time to have a word with my husband. If he is in his room they make frequent visits to him. Their care also extends to our family. After an eight-day stay in the hospital we returned in an ambulance to be welcomed back by two senior carers, although it was nearly 7pm and near the end of their shift. After they settled my husband in they brought me and my daughter a welcome cup of tea and sandwiches. A care home that really cares.

My dad has been in The Olde Coach House for a year now and I am so pleased we chose this care home. These past few months have seen major alterations to the building but throughout this time the staff have continued to provide excellent care throughout these very challenging conditions. I cannot praise them enough. My dad is very happy, in fact, when we take him out he cannot wait to get back - well done.

Unfortunately, I am unable to visit mum regularly but when I do I find the staff friendly, attentive and caring. The home is clean and comfortable and the residents appear to be treated with respect. it is a concern relaying on others to care for a loved one, however, it is very reassuring to have 100% confidence in the management and staff at The Olde Coach House.

I have been very satisfied with the overall care given to my stepmother. Staff have always been most helpful and considerate. This is reiterated by my stepmother. Although she suffered with Alzheimer's, she says staff are very kind and the food is good. Clearly, if she was unhappy she would tell me and it would be most apparent. Thank you.
