My father is very happy in the home but we do resent having to subsidise those who do not pay for their care.

Since filling in the last review, mam is still being looked after with care and most importantly, kindness and compassion. We know she might be confused but she is very safe and happy.

Unfortunately, Mum had to have 24-hour-care and I was recommended Kesteven Grange Care Home and it didn't disappoint. We looked at a few homes but decided on this one. Staff are all lovely and friendly. The home is very clean and well kept. Residents go out on day trips and they can't do enough!! Nobody wants to put their parents into care, but I would highly recommend Kesteven Grange Care Home.

Every time we visit mum we find all the staff very welcoming, they are always busy looking after everyone but always have time to update us on mum.
They are always providing different activities and outings and you can see how much effort they all put in.

Mum is always cared for and looked after to high standards. We know she is in a well cared for environment.

It's very nice, very pleasant, very helpful if I need anything, always there. I would like to say that Kesteven Grange is excellent, (but I have nothing to compare it with).

My mum receives excellent care from all carers at Kesteven Grange. They are kind and considerate and she's very happy here. The carers give fantastic care and support to both us, family and the residents. They take them out for days out etc. The food is lovely and my mum has put weight on since she came here, which is good as she was underweight when she arrived. Excellent care, I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Friendliness, staff excellent, size of my room, nice bedding. Food is fantastic, very clean home like my room and home looking modern, smells nice. Plenty of things to do in the home, can eat when I want, lovely equipped rooms. Lounge very nice. Fantastic garden. Dining room very light, not dull. They provide me with cutlery I can use as I struggle at times due to my arthritis.

Staff are really good and look after my mother with great care. She enjoys the days outings, parties and games organised by the staff. She is well fed and tended to and has a really nice bedroom. I visit every week and the staff have got to know me and join in conversations etc. staff always treat residents really well, especially on their Birthdays.

My mother-in-law has been a resident of Kesteven Grange in Hull for approximately four years. She settled straight away and is looked after extremely well. She particularly likes the staff, both day and night. She is very complimentary about the food etc. They have a mini bus and sometimes she gets the opportunity to have trips out. The home has lots of entertainment events, i.e Halloween, Christmas etc. and the staff always make a real effort to take part in these events, for all of the residents. We are very happy and have a peace of mind that she is being very well cared for. The manager is excellent showing a big commitment to her role.
