Kesteven Grange Care Home

This care home is so welcoming and happy. This home has made my grandad so happy and well cared for, so much so, when I take him out he always asks if they will let him back in.

Day staff are excellent. Mum never wanted to go in a home but settled straight away. The home is flexible and staff/management are understanding and staff listen to family. The home is always clean and is currently being decorated. I am impressed by the new homely decor. Management are very approachable and have listened to and acted on all of the families requests. Staff have been fab liaising with medical professionals on mum's behalf.

This is my first visit to the care home so I cannot give a proper review but I have been shown around and everything seems to be very nice. The bedrooms look nice and cosy and the staff seem very friendly.

My mum has been at Kesteven Grange just short of 18 months. However, she recently passed away. We chose this home over the other homes as it ticked all of our boxes and to the end it still did. From care to cleanliness, all was remarkable throughout and even with ourselves at the end. So kind and empathic. This home was outstanding and I have in the past, recommended it.

My mum has settled in very well and the times she has been a bit down the staff have been wonderful. The care has been second to none. I would recommend the home to anyone. She doesn't want for anything. Thank you.

My mother in law is happy and well cared for. The staff are extremely supportive and caring especially seen when she fell and required an ambulance (which took a long time to arrive). All the staff have consideration, great kindness, and professionalism. We are so pleased that Kesteven Grange Care Home was recommended as we know that she is safe, well looked after and considers that she is home.

My mum has severe dementia and needs 24hour care. Kesteven Grange is perfect. The staff are caring, friendly and that includes management, carers, cleaners, kitchen and back up staff. There is a bus for day trips and activities, parties on birthdays, Halloween, bonfire night, Christmas and New Year.

Meals are very good, even a menu to choose from. If you have any worries you can talk to the manager or any staff member. Residents have their own room.

My grandad required respite after hospital discharge, the home was welcoming on arrival which helped him to settle in quickly, the staff have been helpful and spend time with the residents in the lounge and they always make time for us when we have had any queries. My grandad is more than happy with the food and is always given a choice he has gained weight quickly which was needed. The care staff have coordinated all of his care needs and liaised with other necessary professionals such as dentists, social workers and Occupational Therapists to ensure his needs have been met accordingly and to get him home swiftly.

I have recommended to two friends and their relatives are now there.

The staff are very conscientious and my partner's mother appears happy there.

Our mother can be very awkward and needy but all the staff show great patience with her, so we certainly have no complaints.
