My sister is in Baytree Court and I am very satisfied with her care. The meals are very tempting (although my sister doesn't eat much) she loves the pudding. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help in anyway they can. It's clean.

Two years ago we had to find a home for my mother to be happy in. After extensive research we considered Baytree Court to be of a suitable standard for my mother's needs. The care has proved to be exceptional, management approachable and facilities offered were of a very high standard.
Sadly my mother was recently admitted to hospital and passed away. The time my mother spent at Baytree Court proved to be a happy time and as a family, we feel they made her comfortable and she had made lots of friends.
The home was exceptionally clean and tidy every time we visited and was well run. Food was of a high standard with lots of variety.

Credit goes to everyone at Baytree Court and I can highly recommend Baytree Court to any family looking for residential care. Thank you so much for everything you did for her.

I have been visiting Baytree Court now for over 18 months and I find the home and staff to be as welcoming and friendly since the day we first came to look round. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they go out of their way to help and please residents. I have never seen a care home with so much going on for the residents to enjoy. My mother-in-law enjoys the activities and entertainment provided and sits and looks at the event list in depth and tells us when the next flower arranging etc is. She particularly enjoys the church service and really looks forward to that. I cannot find words to express how grateful mum-in-law feels, and as do the family, so it is just going to be a massive THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

After attending my mother's birthday party that was provided by Baytree Court, any visions of a care home went completely out of the window. We had an afternoon tea party in the beautiful vintage tea room that they created and 5 of her closest friends were invited. They were all excited because they had managed to keep it all a secret from my mom and balloons and banners were put up and a beautiful birthday cake was made by the cook. One of the members of staff had given up her afternoon off to be a waitress. We had a lovely tea with vintage tea pots and plates all relevant to the décor which added to the moment. I would like to thank all the staff for all their kindness over the the last 2 years and I would recommend any one looking for a care home to give Baytree Court serious consideration .

My Mum is extremely happy visiting Baytree Court for periods of respite when I am away. Should the need ever arise for her to go into permanent residential care this would be her first choice.
The staff are extremely polite, helpful and friendly.

Her being able to go there is a huge weight off my mind.

The manager and all at Baytree are the most friendly and caring people I've met. Nothing is too much for any of them. My mother has been in Baytree Court for eighteen months now and can be very demanding but they all seem to understand her and help her in whichever way they can. My thanks go to all at Baytree for the care and understanding they give my mother who has dementia.

This review relates to my mother's care in Baytree Court residential. The care she received was excellent. Since before Christmas of this year, my mum's health started to fail. Mum has been in the home for full-time care since January 2016 and before that for respite care for such times as holidays for myself. In early January 2017, I got a call to say mum was not very good so I went straight away. The paramedics were called, but my mum, who was 96 years old and very sound of mind said "No hospital" which I totally agreed with her wishes. The local doctor was called and the home manager agreed they would manage my mum there. The care my mum and I received was marvellous. I stayed all night and mum passed away peacefully a day later just as we both wished. The support we received helped us achieve the end my mum wanted.

Very friendly homely feeling the care home the staff are always willing to help. The staff treat the residents as friends a great place to stay or visit. From looking around other homes this is a quieter calmer home.

I came here for respite care after a fall at my home on the recommendation of my best friend. Her mother in law has been a resident here since May 2013. I cannot stress the care and support I have received at all times. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff.

Our mum has been a resident at Baytree Court for over 3 years. We truly cannot give enough praise to all the amazing staff there. Nothing is too much trouble for them and every member of staff from manager, carers, chef, kitchen and cleaners do their utmost to make Baytree a home from home residence, for residents and their families. I have recommended Baytree to many. Cleanliness is top notch, food is excellent, fabulous home cooking with a great selection of food. The care mum receives from these lovely carers is second to none, they are like family to her and us. We really couldn't ask for more. Mum deserves the best and at Baytree she has got it!

I have found the staff to be pleasant and caring whilst looking after my relative. The home is always clean and tidy. If I require any information about his health or needs my questions are always answered straight away if possible. The main thing is that he seems to be, for the most part, happy!

Wonderful place. My mother has been resident for two years annd is very happy. They recently had a birthday party for her with a singer and a birthday cake made by the chef. As she is now over 100 she finds it difficult to take part in many of the activities.

My mother has been at Baytree for six months and has settled in with the help of the wonderful staff, who take the time to sit and listen to her. I can not fault the care home. My mother has dementia and gets upset if family are not there. The staff have helped her by being there for her and calming her down. If it were not for the staff I don't think my mother would be here with us, as she is now 92. A big thank you to all at Baytree.

Review from Lindsay (Daughter of Resident) published on 18 May 2016 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

The care mum receives at Baytree Court Care Home is consistently good. Mum has dementia and is a faller not a good combination, but the home has provided her with a pressure mat and as soon as she stands on it the carers know she is moving about and check she is ok. She did have recent fall following which she became more confused and the staff immediately called the care team who admitted her to hospital. There is no doubt my sister and myself could not now look after mum at home 24 hours a day. But we are content in the knowledge that mum receives excellent care and compassion at Baytree Court Care Home.

My and my mothers experience of Baytree Court is excellent service. She is cared for by the staff with dignity and I am treated with respect and kindness from staff and management. Any problems with health or anything else is dealt with straight away. There are no restrictions on visiting and having the room as the resident wishes to make it like home as much as possible. My mothers health and well being has improved since been there and we are both very happy and stress free.
