Baytree Court is a friendly, welcoming home with a beautifully appointed lounge, and it’s own designated tea room where residents can enjoy home cooked meals and afternoon tea with family and friends.

The home also benefits from its very own bar which is enjoyed all year round to celebrate social events, a tune or two from the piano, or just a chill out area to enjoy a Sunday afternoon after dinner. It really comes into its own in the summer where its doors lead out to the garden so that residents can enjoy an afternoon in the sun.

The person-centred care enables residents to keep on doing the things they’ve always loved. Life at Baytree allows residents to enjoy some of their favourite pastimes; so they’ll be able to clean, help out in the garden, prepare meals and even enjoy singing and exercise sessions in the local community.

A jam-packed activities programme is available to residents, including outings to the local area, which is excellent for both entertainment and heritage, with a theatre and cinema nearby, as well as a museum and country park. Each week residents can take a look and choose what they would like to participate in.

This review relates to my mother's care in Baytree Court residential. The care she received was excellent. Since before Christmas of this year, my mum's health started to fail. Mum has been in the home for full-time care since January 2016 and before that for respite care for such times as holidays
for myself. In early January 2017, I got a call to say mum was not very good so I went straight away. The paramedics were called, but my mum, who was 96 years old and very sound of mind said "No hospital" which I totally agreed with her wishes. The local doctor was called and the home manager agreed they would manage my mum there. The care my mum and I received was marvellous. I stayed all night and mum passed away peacefully a day later just as we both wished. The support we received helped us achieve the end my mum wanted.

Very friendly homely feeling the care home the staff are always willing to help. The staff treat the residents as friends a great place to stay or visit. From looking around other homes this is a quieter calmer home.

I came here for respite care after a fall at my home on the recommendation of my best friend. Her mother in law has been a resident here since May 2013. I cannot stress the care and support I have received at all times. Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff.

Our mum has been a resident at Baytree Court for over 3 years. We truly cannot give enough praise to all the amazing staff there. Nothing is too much trouble for them and every member of staff from manager, carers, chef, kitchen and cleaners do their utmost to make Baytree a home from home residence,
for residents and their families. I have recommended Baytree to many. Cleanliness is top notch, food is excellent, fabulous home cooking with a great selection of food. The care mum receives from these lovely carers is second to none, they are like family to her and us. We really couldn't ask for more. Mum deserves the best and at Baytree she has got it!

I have found the staff to be pleasant and caring whilst looking after my relative. The home is always clean and tidy. If I require any information about his health or needs my questions are always answered straight away if possible. The main thing is that he seems to be, for the most part, happy!

Wonderful place. My mother has been resident for two years annd is very happy. They recently had a birthday party for her with a singer and a birthday cake made by the chef. As she is now over 100 she finds it difficult to take part in many of the activities.

My mother has been at Baytree for six months and has settled in with the help of the wonderful staff, who take the time to sit and listen to her. I can not fault the care home. My mother has dementia and gets upset if family are not there. The staff have helped her by being there for her and calming
her down. If it were not for the staff I don't think my mother would be here with us, as she is now 92. A big thank you to all at Baytree.

The care mum receives at Baytree Court Care Home is consistently good. Mum has dementia and is a faller not a good combination, but the home has provided her with a pressure mat and as soon as she stands on it the carers know she is moving about and check she is ok. She did have recent fall following
which she became more confused and the staff immediately called the care team who admitted her to hospital. There is no doubt my sister and myself could not now look after mum at home 24 hours a day. But we are content in the knowledge that mum receives excellent care and compassion at Baytree Court Care Home.

I find the staff to be polite well presented and helpful. The manager and deputy are approachable and the manager's door is always open. I have noticed that the staff will go that extra mile to assist you and always have time for you.

The care was very good for my mother. The staff were always friendly and considerate and made us feel welcome. The environment was always clean and tidy. Her husband was always made to feel at home and welcome. She was in Baytree for nearly 5 years.

My and my mothers experience of Baytree Court is excellent service. She is cared for by the staff with dignity and I am treated with respect and kindness from staff and management. Any problems with health or anything else is dealt with straight away. There are no restrictions on visiting and having
the room as the resident wishes to make it like home as much as possible. My mothers health and well being has improved since been there and we are both very happy and stress free.
