I do as I like, get up when I want, go to bed when I want nothing better.
I have been here five years, I eat what I want and the staff help me with all I want.
I can go out when I want and I get visitors.
Staff do my shopping if I want nothing is too much trouble.

Thank you.

All the staff have been brilliant, things that I have mentioned have been sorted. He is very happy and he has the best of both independence in his bungalow and the company of other residents.

Mum hasn't always been easy, at times can be quite difficult and uncooperative. Staff have always been patient and caring. The meals are excellent, cleanliness excellent. Staff always welcoming and accommodating. When visiting various homes looking, Orchard Court was the only one that didn't have 'that smell'.

My mother needed a short-term placement following a spell in hospital after having a fall at home. We were recommended to come and see Orchard Court. My mother and I were a little apprehensive given the bad press that is so regularly posted online and within the media, however, this Care Home exceeded expectations 100%. With having no information about care homes, the home manager was so welcoming, understanding and knowledgeable about her home, the staff and how they would ensure my mother would be happy, comfortable and safe.

Within a short time and having had a look around, the manager put my mind at ease and reassured us. Mum had such a good time, loved the food (which while in hospital she didn't have a good appetite) and couldn't praise the staff enough. I am so grateful to the home and if we needed this again, I would make sure Orchard Court were contacted first. What a fabulous example to put minds at rest that there are such fantastic places available for our loved ones.

My mother has been a resident for over 2 years and I have always found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
The food is of a very high standard.
The entertainment organiser is particularly good with plenty of ideas which the residents really enjoy.
I am always made welcome when visiting and feel I can phone at any time.

Most importantly I don't worry about how my mother is being cared for at Orchard Court.

My nan has been in Orchard Court Care Home since December 2016. She is incredibly well looked after and the staff do a wonderful job (even when my nan is being stubborn or mischievous!). I am continuously amazed at the range, variety and number of events and activities that the home arrange for the residents and visitors. As I only get to visit every couple of months it is brilliant to look at the photo album to see what my nan has been up to. The home is full of laughter, which is so important. The staff take a lot of time to get to know all the residents and treat them all as individuals with the respect and dignity they deserve. I am also hugely grateful for the peace of mind this has given my mum who found the process of my nan going into a home very difficult, after caring for her for over 10 years. I can't thank the staff enough for all they do.

I have always found the staff and management are very good, they are always there to talk to if you have any problems and are very helpful. The unit my friend is in is excellent, cleaned on a regular basis. He is looked after very well and if he wants something else to eat they will try and find something he will eat. I don't have to worry about if he is ok, they would contact me if there was a problem.

Care, such a small word, with a huge meaning, for the dedicated, professional work of the staff. Not only is our mother treated with respect and dignity in difficult circumstances but the staff 'care' for the family members who visit too. A real home from home, nothing is too much trouble. A friendly atmosphere is established and one finds oneself involved quite naturally in the life of the residents whether it is taking part in the range of activities, albeit sometimes by accident whilst walking through the dining area, or generally chatting to all as one passes through.

I have and will continue, to recommend Orchard Court to others. Nothing but praise for the staff and the open door approach of the managerial staff.

It was a huge change in mum's life to move nearly 200 miles away from living with family to the care home, but with total dedication and love from all members of staff, it's now a struggle to get her to go out for the day because she's that settled. Can't recommend the care home enough.

This is a top quality care home. All the staff are very friendly, extremely caring and treat all the residents with respect, patience and above all loving care. Nothing is too much trouble and they welcome visitors at all times. If a resident is in need of medical care immediate action is taken to ensure that professional help from emergency services or doctors is sought. Trouble is taken to provide residents with entertainment and activities to make their stay enjoyable and comfortable. All physical needs are met with kindness, patience and respect. This is a lovely care home and helps to put relatives' minds at ease knowing their loved ones are cared for.

I can visit my aunt whenever I wish, and whatever time of day I do visit, I find the same level of care being given. The staff always make time to answer any questions I may have and they show a great understanding of my aunt's needs, always willing to discuss any care needs I feel she may have and working out ways to fulfil these. The general ambience is always calm and friendly, and I feel secure that she is being well looked after.

The staff at Orchard Court made the transition of moving our dear friend into care run as smoothly as possible. It was not straight forward as our friend's condition deteriorated quickly. They were very supportive to our friend and us too. Nothing was too much trouble.
They have so much patience with the residents and family and friends at all times, no matter what their workload is at that moment. It is like an extended family.

Everywhere in the home is clean, tidy and organised. The food is wonderful. I have been into many care homes with various members of my family and Orchard Court is the best by far.

Since placing my mum into Orchard Court she is the happiest I have ever seen her! What I thought would be a difficult decision has been made so much easier by the care and support from the Manager, Deputy Manager and ALL the staff who have gone out of their way to welcome mum into her new home.

They have both supported Mum and myself and I know I made the right decision. They make my feel very welcome when I visit.

The staff show every single resident respect, dignity and empathy and no one is treated any differently to each other. Everything about the home is warm and welcoming and the standard of care is exceptional.

The food is absolutely outstanding and every meal is home made. Mum is offered different healthy menu choices daily for each meal.

My mum has vascular dementia but the Activities Co-ordinator is always finding new interesting and challenging activities for mum to take part in and mum looks forward to these.

So glad I chose Orchard Court for Mum.

My Nan has lived in Orchard Court for 6 months and from the moment she moved in we have been pleased with the level of care which she receives. She is checked frequently throughout the day and night.

The staff are always attentive to her personal and emotional care which gives us a great peace of mind. There is a happy and caring atmosphere in the home and you are always made to feel welcome whenever you visit. The amount of varied and stimulating activities which the home put on is very impressive.

My father is a resident of Orchard Court and he is treated with the upmost dignity and respect. The home is well looked after, clean and very much home from home. My dad is happy, safe and very well looked after.

The manager is absolutely wonderful with him. I have peace of mind that when I leave he is treated with love and dignity. I searched long and hard for a small private care home that met all of my dads needs and I can tell you with my hand on my heart that I found everything I was looking for in Orchard Court. Ten out of ten every time.

Very friendly and caring atmosphere to this home with plenty of laughter, smiles and comforting style from carers to residents. Food is freshly cooked with a choice of menu, communal rooms are always clean with room to sit and watch television or play games. Friendly approach to visitors from the carers and nothing seems too much to ask either by residents or visitors. Visitors are welcome to join in with the activities which is comforting and reassuring for both residents and their visitors. I am extremely happy with the care shown to my mother here and the love and friendliness shown both to her and to me.

Great care home for your loved ones for day care, respite or full time care, my sister in law has been part of the family there since last August, I say family because the management and staff are so professional in the way they delivered the care and support for my sister in law and the support they gave to my wife and I has been outstanding, sadly my sister in law passed away on Friday evening so that is why I feel this review is appropriate for me to write in memory of the time she spent there. Thank you so much Orchard Court.

The care provided goes beyond expectations, they truly care as well as take care of the residents. My sisters and I have already recommended it to friends and relatives which have been taken up. Both our parents are residents and have different needs and both are looked after and respected.
