Orchard Court Care Home

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of staff for the wonderful care given to my dad after he was taken into care after the loss of his wife of over 60 years. Not only is he grieving but also under these bizarre circumstances of COVID and us not being able to settle him into his new home, they have gone above and beyond what was expected of them to make dad feel safe and cared for. He is very settled and is now enjoying his new life, joining in activities and is more like his old self. Thank you all so very much.

My husband went into Orchard Court for respite. I cannot fault the care my husband received from the start. Staff were extremely friendly. Caring. They had the time to chat. So thoughtful of my husband's needs. They couldn’t do enough for you. Not only did they respect my husband with his every need they even made sure I was doing ok. Absolutely brilliant service.

It is hard to put into words just how reassuring it has been (and continues to be) that my mum is being looked after by the key workers, carers, management and support staff at Orchard Court. We often say that people 'go the extra mile'; these guys do that every single day. In recent weeks, under the most challenging of circumstances, their response has been exemplary, with the highest standards of care and support evident in everything they do.

I found the staff to be wonderful when looking after my mother whilst she was resident in Orchard Court. I always felt my mother was well looked after by caring, patient and professional staff. The team provided lots of fun and entertaining activities to keep her and the other residents occupied and were very welcoming and helpful when I went to visit.

I would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of staff at this most wonderful of places. Mum and Dad in Law have had the best care and attention from day 1. They truly could not be in a better place. Especially at this difficult and dangerous time. These people go far far above and beyond duty of care at all times. To leave their home of 63 years was heart-wrenching but to have the love, care and support of these wonderful people in such a lovely place is priceless. Can not recommend it highly enough. Thank you all.

The staff are amazing; they will do anything for Dad and the family. The deputy manager and manager are brilliant. This is where I would like to be if I needed to be in a residential home.

In January 2019 my sisters and I made the very difficult decision that our dad who has dementia could no longer continue to live in his beloved home alone. Our search for the perfect home from home led us to Orchard Court. Our dad moved in at the end of January 2019. The wonderful team at Orchard Court made the transition of moving dad into his new home very easy. We were welcomed as a family and supported. Our dad settled very quickly and is part of the family within Orchard Court. He is cared for and respected at the same time. He is no longer lonely and isolated, which he was when he was on his own at home. The whole team at Orchard Court are just wonderful. My sisters and I can’t thank you all enough for taking such good care of our dad.

As I had helped to care for my mum for several years, I dreaded the time that she would have to move out of her own home and into care. When that time came, the staff at Orchard Court couldn't have been more fantastic in helping our family as a whole to cope with that transition. Knowing and seeing how well she is being cared for has lifted an enormous worry from our shoulders. My mother is very well cared for, happy and settled. We never thought it could happen but it has. Thank you to the incredible, kind staff at for everything you all do. I couldn't recommend this home and its staff more highly.

Every aspect of care is absolutely first class. My mind is at rest 24 hours.

This care home, the minute you walk through the door, is a place you want to be. It is warm, welcoming and a vibrant place full of people who are totally dedicated to the people in their care. Each person is treated as an individual and their lives are enhanced accordingly. This is not a care home but a home of love, care and acceptance.

They have made a difficult transition for our family so much easier.

The home is very clean and welcoming. The staff are very helpful and caring. The residents have plenty of activities each day. Our family has peace of mind knowing our father is happy and settled.

I have tried several residential care homes but Orchard Court is a dream come true. They certainly deserve their outstanding rating. It is very clean and the staff are always interacting with the residents and always smiling. There is a very pleasant atmosphere.

My Mum came to Orchard court after a rather upsetting event in her life. From the moment we saw her bungalow at Orchard Court and met the staff we knew it was the right place for her. The bungalow is bright and airy and she has made it her own by adding her own furniture etc. All the staff are very helpful and the care she has received has been wonderful. She enjoys the food and has settled well, especially considering she spent 90 years in the same village before moving to Brigg.

My dad is looked after really well and is happy at Orchard Court Care Home. The staff are so kind and caring and we know that dad is well cared for. It is a very happy place and it has got everything we want, it's as close to home as you can get. No praise high enough for any of the staff and good humour and always a smile. :)

In conclusion, whether it's for yourself or a relative, I one hundred per cent recommend Orchard Court.

I have made many friends and have great fun with all the people here. I have been able to be taken out. I am very happy here and feel safe and am looked after very well.

Good care, lovely living space. I have some good friends, good food, I do as I like.

Mum was in the care of Orchard Court for seven and a half years and as a family, we were very happy with the care she received.
