My mother opted to seek residence at Nightingales following a serious stroke.
She had been resident for a period a few years earlier, and although that stay was 'ok' it wasn't what she, or we hoped for.
However, we were aware of changes made very recently at the Nursing home, and decided that previous performance isn't always indicative of how things are now.
We moved my mother in at the beginning of July and were genuinely delighted on how things had changed, and how kind, caring and considerate the staff were, from the cleaners up to the manager.
My mother was treated with love and respect, and was beginning to settle in well.
Sadly, my mother died 2 weeks ago whilst resident, but the story doesn't end there.
All of the staff, and I mean all, were so kind and supportive during a truly upsetting and traumatic time, nothing was too much for them, for which we are truly grateful.
