The advice I would give is, do not get blinded by nice curtains and friendly staff, the most important aspect is that your family member is safe, adequately monitored and treated with dignity, this is not obvious to see.
You will see we are positive concerning some issues, however some fundamental elements let the whole home down and makes it essential for you to ignore the smiles and ask for evidence that your relative is receiving all the parts of the care plan, as they will refer to this being done, please check.

Services like hairdressing and manicured help clients to feel positive about themselves helping with the move from independent living to a care setting. We couldn't be more satisfied with the care provided here. My aunt is gently encouraged to join in, especially on days when her mood is low and engagement expectations are tailored to these ups and downs due to her developing dementia.
