I want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Eagle View, they are so friendly and welcoming, and have helped my mum to settle in well. Mum has been there since December 2024, she enjoys all the activities, especially the singing and dancing, I think the activities are excellent and I enjoy them
too with mum when I visit. Mum has made friends and enjoys the company of the other residents and staff. I am so pleased we found Eagle View, the staff are cheerful and it makes me feel uplifted and happy when I visit. Yes I would highly recommend Eagle View.

We had the task of putting dad into a care home back in January 2025. This is one of the hardest things you have to do as a child, and so daunting. There was however no need to worry. The care that dad received from the minute that he arrived at Eagle View was second to none. He wasn't treated as
a resident, he was treated as a member of a family, which is so important when his own family cannot always be there. All of the staff within the home have always welcomed us with open arms, from Management, care staff, admin staff, house keeping, maintenance. Their standards of care have been above and beyond. Dad sadly passed away at the start of April. The compassion, understanding, love and care shown to him up until the day he passed is something that we will treasure as a family and I cannot recommend Eagle View highly enough. Thanks all again - you all really do make a difference.
Reply from Emine Tekis, Registered home manager at Eagle View Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. We understand that making the decision to bring your dad into a care home is an incredibly hard and emotional one, and we truly appreciate the trust you placed in our team's ability and compassionate care during such an important time for your family.

We always aim to create a warm, welcoming home environment rather than a clinical setting, where both our residents and their families feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

It was an absolute pleasure to look after your dad, and he was truly a gentleman who will be fondly remembered by all of us. Your lovely comments about every department within the home mean so much, and I will ensure your gratitude is shared with the whole team.

On behalf of everyone at Eagle View, thank you once again for your recommendation and for allowing us to be part of your dad's journey. Your family's kindness and appreciation mean more than words can say.

My mum has been at Eagle View since January 2025 and we are more than happy with everything. The care she receives is amazing. The staff always go the extra mile with everything. Her room flooded after a neighbour blocked the sink a few weeks ago.The management have always kept me informed of what they
were doing to rectify the problem. They still weren't happy with her room weeks after the incident happened so.they have advised they have put some new flooring down. They are always doing plenty of activities and have regular singers etc coming in to keep.them entertained. Thank you all at Eagle View.

It is obvious from the moment that you walk in, staff at Eagle View are extremely happy and professional at their work. This is displayed through the way they engage with their residents and visitors. Everyone is warm, friendly and compassionate in their manner.
Eagle View is one big friendly home.
It is clean, warm, bright, welcoming and is a vibe of activity. Where residents are happily engaged in a range of well thought out and well led activities in the lounge, or enjoying their meals in the cosy dining room.
Eagle View's management prioritised my father's health and wellbeing in a way that far exceeded my expectations, they went up and above. They drew on the expertise of a number of external partners to ensure that my father's needs were fully established and met. While all the time taking the care to always consult me and keep me fully informed.
I always feel welcome when I visit my father. When I leave I know I am leaving him with people who treat him like family.

I spoke to my mother yesterday and she sounded so good. She said she was comfortable at Eagle View, had friends there, and felt that the staff are warm and take very good care of her. While we were talking, a staff member gave her a bag of her favorite crisps, and she said "that's what they do here,
they know these are my favorite and sometimes they just bring me some". She was so pleased. Living so far away from her, I am comforted to know that my mother is being so well cared for.

My mum moved into Eagle View Care Home in June 2025 and probably like most families it was difficult time. The staff have been kind, helpful and professional. They have helped my mother settle in. She has commented that the food is "very good" and she has put on 2 kg in weight which was badly needed
after her hospital stay. Eagle View is a modern facility and therefore its facilities are good, it is clean and visiting is a positive experience. My mother is a sociable person and I have noticed her mood has improved being in a positive environment and the home has organised trips out. No-one wants to place a relative in a care home but when it becomes essential to protect their wellbeing I think Eagle View is a good option.

Mum has now been a resident at Eagle View for over seven months. As a health care professional, with lots of experience of poor care homes, I was very reluctant for Mum to move in to full time care. Unfortunately living alone with Alzheimer's became untenable, unsafe for Mum and too stressful for my
sister and myself to manage.

The move to Eagle View has been an excellent decision. All the staff have been extremely supportive and the few small issues we've had have been dealt with immediately.

Mum's happiest when she's busy and loves all the activities that are regularly arranged.

I would not hesitate to recommend Eagle View.

My mother was a resident at Eagle View for just over 5 months. Mum had a massive stroke on Easter Monday whilst in Eagle View and died in Eagle View (as per her wishes), 6 days later. The care we received before, during and after her death was outstanding. They let us have use of a bed close by to Mum,
brought us snacks and drinks, and this made a lot of difference to us during this very difficult time. All of our needs were met with dignity and respect. All of the staff care deeply for their residents and their families.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.822 for Eagle View Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (401 Excellents x 5) + (29 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (12 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 443 Ratings = 4.822
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Eagle View Care Home is based on 36 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 42 registered maximum number of service users is 8.4, which has been reached with 36 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
