Only third visit here, but room is very clean and nicely decorated. Our friend is very scared on the chairlift in the annexe sadly and unhappy. Staff we have met have been helpful and kind.

As a family, we feel deep gratitude for the care and kindness our mother receives at St Annes. It is headed by an excellent management team with dedicated staff. St Annes has exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t ask for more.

A highly professional team of staff who are dedicated to providing a high standard of care. Always a friendly, welcoming greeting when visiting. Nothing seems to be a bother, and during such difficult times with the pandemic, staff go out of their way to please everyone with a smile. The investment in garden pods for visitors was so thoughtful, and much appreciated to keep everyone Covid safe. The internal decor could do with an update, but this is no reflection on the standard of care provided.

My family and I cannot thank the staff at St Annes enough for the care my grandma has received since staying with them. Her room is clean, tidy and she is well looked after. The staff at St Annes treat residents as if they were their own family; taking part in Christmas activities and sending cards to loved ones; they really go the extra mile. Thank you all for the magnificent care the residents are receiving!

My husband has been in the home for just under a year and has been very happy and satisfied with the friendliest of the staff. I am also very happy with his appearance and care; he always looks very presentable and happy. I have also found the communication very good.

Very happy with the meals provided and the cleanliness of the room.

All the staff at St Anne's are very kind and attentive. I feel comfortable knowing that my mum is in safe hands. I'm always kept up to date regarding Mum's wellbeing and am confident that the staff have Mum's best interests at heart. My dad (who was also a resident at St Anne's) died last year, and I will always be grateful to the staff for the care and compassion they showed to my mum and our family.

From being greeted at the door, doing all Covid safety work and being shown to Mother's room, the staff are brilliant - polite, friendly and informative as to how Mother has been. The staff have a very good relationship with Mother and appear that nothing is too much trouble. This has been a great home to put Mother in.

Outstanding care/staff/carers. Go out of their way to help in any way with the care of my auntie and keep me fully up to date on all her needs. The home is of a very high standard and very clean. This is the best care home in my area.

I cannot recommend St Annes care home enough. The care and attention they provide to my grandparents are above and beyond expectations. Originally, my gran only attended St Annes as respite until we found a long term solution, however, she settled straight away and was so fond of all the staff. My granda is also now a resident; he is really well looked after and always speaks highly of the home and his care. He particularly enjoys the food and the fun activities they provide. It is really comforting for the family to know that they are receiving the best quality care. Well done, St Annes; you are an absolute credit to the care sector.

My aunt has been a resident at St Annes for about 2-years, and although she isn't always the easiest person to deal with, the staff are always patient with her and treat her with respect and gentle persuasion.

I know that she is safe and well cared for.

My brother and I never thought our mum would settle in a care home after trying her in a different home, she wouldn’t settle and kept trying to leave (she has been very independent all her life and travelled the world alone). However, we were told about St Anne’s because it’s not a modern building and has lovely views across the sea; we thought we should give it a try!

The building has character and resembles a hotel, so my mother feels like she’s on a bit of a holiday with a lot of like minded people. The staff are lovely and really care about their clients. My brother and I can now relax a bit as we know all her needs are being met. Would definitely recommend it.

My relative moved into St Annes at the end of June 2021, and the staff have helped him to settle into his new routine and environment away from his own home. He speaks highly about the care and attention he receives from all the staff. His room is bright, always well heated, and sea facing. He enjoys his meals and is comfortable at the home. However, there are only limited activities, but this may be Covid related.

St Annes was excellent for the care of my aunty. They have a fantastic staff team. My aunty felt very much at home in the few months she was there. Her end of life care was very good for my aunty and her family.

In the midst of Covid restrictions, I was told my mam needed to go into a care home. It was a great relief to come across St Anne's where the management took care of all our problems.
She has a nice homely room with a seat in the window looking at the sea, staff attend to all her problems, and whims, "playing along" with her at times while keeping her cleaned and tidily dressed.

Diet must be well balanced as she now looks healthier than when she went in. GP support is called in when necessary and St Anne's keep us informed. Excellent value for money, very pleased with the "family style" that staff and management look after her and greet us. Taken a great weight off our shoulders!

My dad moved into St Annes around 18-months ago at the start of the Covid outbreak. The staff have been excellent throughout, treating him as an individual and with dignity whilst ensuring that he is stimulated and that he feels at home. They have built his trust to enable them to support him as his dementia worsens and he needs more help to do everyday tasks. I would recommend St Annes to anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive environment for their loved one.
