My mam moved to Langley House in February 2026. I've seen such a positive change in mam's overall behaviour. She is once again her happy, funny and bubbly self. Mam settled in straight away and is so content. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The entertainment is brilliant, there's always something
going on. I knew it was the right home for my mam as it's such a lovely atmosphere. Both managers Joanne and Kirsty have been very supportive to both mam and me. 100% highly recommend Langley House Care Home.

Our mam came to Princess House in November, it was a very difficult time for mam to adjust to her new home, however we her daughters, can't praise and thank the staff enough for looking after her. The home is just one of the best and myself and my sister know mam is being looked after with so much care
and attention and in very safe hands. All of the staff in Princess House are fabulous; they are sincere, so friendly, happy and so caring, nothing is a bother to them. They do so much for their residents, without hesitation and it's obvious they are all so skilled in what they do. We have had the pleasure to be able to see what they actually do day in and day out since November, and they deserve this acknowledgement, as they are amazing, we can definitely say they have made such a difference to mams life. We are so happy we found you Princess House. Thank you so much xx

Step father recently admitted- he has settled well, although is experiencing increased confusion which staff have been excellent at providing reassurance. Staff are lovely, meals are great, tea and biscuits offered regularly. My step father had not had a bath or shower for 6 weeks prior to admission.
2 days after he came here the staff had encouraged him to shower. Care is second to none. Can't say enough about how fantastic the home is.

My Dad is currently looked after in this care home and I have to say that he is very well cared for. The new manager, Rachel has recently taken over the running of the home and along with Amy they make a great team. All of the staff are lovely and seem to genuinely care for my dad and always have a
smile for you and you're welcomed like family when you visit. I know how difficult it can be when dealing with someone with dementia but they do seem to be able to manage my dad very well as at times he can be quite agitated. Springfield Lodge doesn't have that "care home" smell you often get and it's bright and cheery. Looking forward to the better weather so little day trips can start up again. At the end of the day, no one wants their loved one to be in a care home and it's very stressful and upsetting but as long as my dad is safe and cared for with kindness then I'm happy and he is safe and cared for with kindness at Springfield Lodge.
Reply from Gretel Dixon, Head of Marketing at Springfield Lodge Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review of Springfield Lodge. We're very pleased to hear that your dad is being well cared for and that you feel confident in the support he receives. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to Rachel, Amy, and the wider team.

We understand supporting a loved one living with dementia can be challenging, particularly during moments of agitation, so we are glad to hear you feel our team is looking after your dad with compassion and genuine care, and that the home is always bright, fresh, and welcoming.

We hope your dad enjoys some lovely outings when the weather improves, and thank you again for your trust and support.

My Father was a resident in The Gardens for over 10 years.
Overtime he received very good care and support for his every day needs, being treated with dignity, respect and forming good relationships and friendships with the excellent care staff team.
The facilities more than met his requirements.
They are well maintained & clean, with communal dining and lounge areas, and also private lounge areas which could be used when friends & family visited.
His room was spacious, comfortable and we were allowed to personalise it for him so that we made it comfortable & homely.
There was a constant provision of food and drink available to him as & when he required. And on request and special events was able to have personal ready meals made.
We were always confident with his safety and security within the home and have found management to be very approachable, responsive & proactive.
Our Father was very happy & content here & we were always made welcome too. We would highly recommend The Gardens.

My Mother has been under the care of Langley House for some 5 yrs. I must say first of all we live 25min away from this home. As one of the only places willing to take her nearing the end of the pandemic. We made the decision to keep her there after the pandemic ended as a perminant resident purley
down to the care she received from the Manager & her team. I cannot praise these girls highly enough My mam had a stroke sadly which then paralysed her down one side which effected her speech meaning she was unable to communicate with us. The girls were amazing so kind, supportive and genuinly care. JUNE 2025 my step Dad joined my mam volantarily as he now has Alzeiymers also. Since being in Langley he has found a new lease of life and his cheeky personality has returned he has settled in so well which gives us as a family peace of mind knowing they are both being well looked after. I cannot recommend the place more highly and trust all the girls 100% Thank you

Staff are friendly and welcoming and always have a smile. They organised lots of activities over the Christmas period. They take great care in my experience of looking after the residents and my sister is well settled and looked after.
