My Mother has been under the care of Langley House for some 5 yrs. I must say first of all we live 25min away from this home. As one of the only places willing to take her nearing the end of the pandemic. We made the decision to keep her there after the pandemic ended as a perminant resident purley
down to the care she received from the Manager & her team. I cannot praise these girls highly enough My mam had a stroke sadly which then paralysed her down one side which effected her speech meaning she was unable to communicate with us. The girls were amazing so kind, supportive and genuinly care. JUNE 2025 my step Dad joined my mam volantarily as he now has Alzeiymers also. Since being in Langley he has found a new lease of life and his cheeky personality has returned he has settled in so well which gives us as a family peace of mind knowing they are both being well looked after. I cannot recommend the place more highly and trust all the girls 100% Thank you

My mum has been in this care home for 3years and couldn't be happier. The management and staff are all excellent and the facilities are excellent also. There are organised activities on a regular basis, which the residents can participate in or chose not to. The staff are very empathetic and treat the
residents with dignity at all times. I would highly recommend this care home.

Mum is very well looked after by caring staff. Facilities, food, and activities are all first rate, but most importantly the carers really care. Dad entered Westoe Grange Care Home 2 years ago after becoming unable to safely stay in his own house. Dad has received very caring support and staff have been communicative of his changing needs and issues during his time there. Given dad's communication problems, the staff and management have ensured
that all his needs were met, with patience and good humour. Under the circumstances, I cannot think of any way in which the care dad received could be improved upon. I would like to thank the management and staff for their support and understanding up to and including the time of dad's passing.

Where do I start! Having worked in homes myself to having a dear family member in one, two completely different experiences.
My father came to Langley house in May 2025 with Mixed Dementia, he wasn't too happy about the situation but it was for the best.
He hit it off with all the staff immediately,
they took him under their wing, sat him with like minded men to chat with, and did their upmost to help him mingle with everyone. He went on day trips out with them and on any themed days I got to come and sit with dad and the other service users and watch the entertainment too.
Unfortunately my dad became unwell whilst there, the staff were amazing , worth their weight in gold! They called me on every incident involving my father, be it a Nurse visit to a fall .
My dad asked to be made permanent, His care turned to Nursing, palliative. He said he felt cared for , the girls very lovely to him and he felt safe. They treat my dad with respect as if he was their own family, this meant so much

Myself and my family think St. Annes care home is fantastic level of care. People who do care about their residents, keep there mind stimulated and just over all a happy place for my stepdad to be when we struggled to care for him 24hrs a day.
I know he is safe, well fed, and seems generally happy
there,
Thank you to all the staff your worth your weight in gold x

Mum has been a resident for nearly a year now. The entire staff are dedicated to the welfare of the resident. Always friendly an nothing is a problem, also with a smile on many occasions have gone out of there way to reassure and comfort my mother when difficult problems have happened. The food and
choice is outstanding. Very clean and tidy. Lovely garden and seating area at the front of the building.
I feel my mother is in safe hands. Thanks again to all staff for making a sad time the best it can be.
