My Dad spent twelve weeks in The Gardens receiving end of life care, he was so well looked after. Every single one of the staff were wonderful, they are caring and compassionate . They treat the residents with respect and care for them in a dignified way. We as a family always felt Dad was being well looked after and safe. We could go home and not worry about him. I got to spend some special times with him in his last days doing activities and going to various entertainment events in the home. There is always something for the residents to do if they want too. I really can't praise Hannah and Kirsty and the team there enough and will always be grateful for everything they did for Dad and us. I will remember them all forever.

Generally pleased with the care and attention my relative has received. He is safe and relaxed. The staff are friendly and attentive, there are activities going on when I visit, Music playing & TV on. The dining room and lounge areas have been exchanged, to make a more comfortable atmosphere in the hot weather. He seems to be eating well.

We are extremely happy with the care. My father is receiving. The staff are all lovely with my father and he is well looked after with his food and drink and his personal care. We can call anytime of the day and we are always welcome.

Dad is a resident at Langley House and we couldn't be happier with the care he is receiving. The staff are lovely and its a very caring, loving and supportive environment staff all go over and beyond. Lovely rooms and atmosphere.

Dad has settled into Langley House very well and I'm sure that it's down to the wonderful care of the staff. There is always lots of activities going on and lots of encouragement to join in. The kindness of the staff and management has made all the difference to our experience and most importantly dad's experience. A lovely care home and always very clean.

Clearly much improved since last CQC report was prepared. My mum has only recently moved into the home but in our experience to date it is much different in a positive way to the one I read about. Mum very happy and settled here and the wide range of activities has given her a new positive outlook.

I find that he level of care my mam receives is of a good standard, with carers often showing a good level of understanding while going "the extra mile", when carrying out the care delivery it comes across as them enjoying what they do and not just doing their job. When a carer told me they were an extended family to my mam, it filled me with a sense of reassurance that she is in good hands.

My dad says we have absolutely no complaints at all. Thank you all very much.

My father was admitted to Langley from hosptial where he had deteriorated both physically and mentally. The staff were welcoming, professional, and so very kind both to myself and my father. Due to their excellent care, my father has returned to his usual self. The staff at Langley, led by a brilliant manager, Joanne, are without exception wonderful. They have really made an effort to get to know my father and handle his dementia with sensitivity. Langley House is how care homes should be (in my professional capacity as a GP in Yorkshire, I have visited many, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for my father)

I am so pleased that my father in law is at Langley. The staff are absolutely superb. Everyone from the laundry lady to the manager clearly loves their job and are always interacting with the residents. Joanne leads a fantastic team by example.

My mam moved to Langley House in February 2026. I've seen such a positive change in mam's overall behaviour. She is once again her happy, funny and bubbly self. Mam settled in straight away and is so content. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The entertainment is brilliant, there's always something going on. I knew it was the right home for my mam as it's such a lovely atmosphere. Both managers Joanne and Kirsty have been very supportive to both mam and me. 100% highly recommend Langley House Care Home.

Step father recently admitted- he has settled well, although is experiencing increased confusion which staff have been excellent at providing reassurance. Staff are lovely, meals are great, tea and biscuits offered regularly. My step father had not had a bath or shower for 6 weeks prior to admission. 2 days after he came here the staff had encouraged him to shower. Care is second to none. Can't say enough about how fantastic the home is.

My Dad is currently looked after in this care home and I have to say that he is very well cared for. The new manager, Rachel has recently taken over the running of the home and along with Amy they make a great team. All of the staff are lovely and seem to genuinely care for my dad and always have a smile for you and you're welcomed like family when you visit. I know how difficult it can be when dealing with someone with dementia but they do seem to be able to manage my dad very well as at times he can be quite agitated. Springfield Lodge doesn't have that "care home" smell you often get and it's bright and cheery. Looking forward to the better weather so little day trips can start up again. At the end of the day, no one wants their loved one to be in a care home and it's very stressful and upsetting but as long as my dad is safe and cared for with kindness then I'm happy and he is safe and cared for with kindness at Springfield Lodge.

The home is very clean,the food is good and the staff are really good, patient, caring and respectful. It bright and airy and mum loves her room. The system considers all aspects of the residents happiness which we noticed in my mums demeaner.

Our Father was very happy & content here & we were always made welcome too. We would highly recommend The Gardens.

Langley house is a good home my wife has lived here for around 2 years and we couldn't ask for better. The staff do a fantastic job and always give 100% as a family we visit daily and are always made to feel welcome.
