I was a resident at The Gardens for 2 weeks for respite after having a hip replacement. All the staff were very friendly and did their jobs to a high standard. I felt relaxed and could not of got better looked after.

Langley House Care Home is an excellent care home, I find all the staff and management very nice and very caring. The home is always clean and has a lovely atmosphere when I visit. The standard of care is excellent and my mother is very well cared for and happy.

My mum is so well looked after at Langley house, I could not be more happy that she is here. Staff and management are excellent. She is so well looked after everyone. Staff look after everyone so well, observing the relationships and interactions between all staff, and residents. Mum is safe and secure
here, which gives me peace of mind at all times.

Fantastic staff, always cheerful and chatty helping quickly with any issues. Spacious nicely decorated rooms, frequent entertainment and plenty of food! Beautiful garden area too. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones for a high level of special care by truly special caring staff.

My father has now been a resident for two months. The management and staff have been brilliant always there to help with my problems or issues, if my dad takes ill I am always informed by phone, always.

Relative not long into Langley House. I find clean, smells fresh. Staff very friendly caring and always willing to help.
Meals always smell lovely.
Talking to my relative, he praises them all. How lovely they all are.
He says they look after me well.
I've found he has settled in well, and very
happy to be there. He says "they look after me well".

I am genuinely impressed with the care and consideration demonstrated by staff at The Gardens Care Home towards all residents. The staff are always easily approachable and their willing to provide any information requested. The care home is always clean and bright and a nice place for residents. I appreciate
it is a very demanding and challenging environment for staff and they meet the challenges daily. My only concern is the lack of activities which would stimulate the residents and add value to their days.

My mam was resident for about six weeks. The staff were lovely, they couldn't do enough for her. Her room was very nice, well decorated and exceptionally clean. The food wasnt quite to mams taste but there was always something she could eat. It was easy for us to visit and we were always welcomed. Mam
was quite poorly but the staff kept us up to date with medications etc.

My mam went into Springfield Lodge in June last year, she was very hesitant to go into care after looking after herself at home. She was welcomed with open arms by the staff who made to feel at home. Staff are lovely and very caring. Mam loved the food especially the puddings. Mam wasn't in the best
of health while she was At Springfield but the done everything they could for her. Mam sadly passed in January, the care and love they showed to us as a family after her passing was amazing, I couldn't thank them enough. The staff and management are amazing!

Dad moved into Langley House Residential Care Home in Horden in November 2025. Sadly, he had a fall a few days after being there but the staff were quick to call an ambulance and dad was taken good care of until it arrived. After his operation, he went back to Langley House. The staff are absolutely
lovely.
They're so kind, patient and helpful and take such good care of the residents. Although he has only been there a short time, they have helped make him feel very welcome. The food is great and plentiful. There was something going on to entertain the residents every day in the run up to Christmas. Some of the local children came in to sing carols, there was a nativity play and an Elvis tribute to name but a few things. It's so nice to see the smiles in so many faces. Let's hope it continues.

Since Mam has came into Langley House she has become less distressed with her vascular dementia. She takes part in the activities especially when there is entertainment on as she loves music. The staff take really good care of her which is such a comfort knowing she is safe and happy. She enjoys her
meals and she has a lovely room.
Over the moon with the service provided couldn't recommend enough.

Been a resident since July/August 2024. Lack of staff, especially at night. Many residents require two members of staff for personal care and there are only three staff during the night which often leads to long delays before they are able to attend to my partner's needs and others. The above colours
my partner's overall opinion of the home which is generally good, with the staff doing their best.

Mother loved her time in this home, she found it hard to leave her home of 60 years but the staff and home could not do enough for her, unfortunately, we lost Mother on January 24, but just to say her final days were made as good as we could have wished.
