Bryony Park Nursing Home

After doing lots of research on nursing homes in the area, Bryony Park Nursing Home came out tops. I'm so pleased to have my mum in here as the care is second to none. The staff are very caring and professional and feel like extended family. I can rest easy now that I know my mum is in a safe, clean and caring home.

This is a professionally run nursing home. All the staff are well trained, friendly and excellent in the warmth and helpfulness at all times. My wife has been in their care for some 3.5 years and never had one complaint.

The staff in Bryony Park are outstanding and without exception, go the extra mile to ensure all my mother in laws needs are attended to promptly and with care. The staff keep us well informed of all issues that may crop up and treat us with respect.

I have been overwhelmed by the standards of care and the kindness of the staff. Without them, I would not have made such a speedy recovery. Covid has been difficult, staff wearing PPE. few events. The only partially negative commend is the food, difficult to ensure 5 a day, however, kitchen has been great to offer alternatives to the set menu.

My mam was a resident at Bryony Park for only three weeks but in that time received the highest standard of care and palliative therapy possible. All the staff showed the most amazing compassion and respect and were so aware of moms needs as an individual, not just a patient. I will be forever grateful to Brony Park for their care, concern and consideration shown to mum and my whole family. Thank you is not enough!

My mum spent the last 3 years at Bryony park. During this time the staff were outstanding. Showing respect and compassion to my mum and also to her relatives. Such a busy place but nothing was ever too much trouble. I was reluctant for mum to go into care, however, once there everything from her personal care, mental health and her overall wellbeing was attended to. Palliative care is not easy but Bryony Park dealt with our situation brilliantly. I cannot thank all the staff enough and especially the deputy manager.

In my opinion, the manager and all the staff at Bryony Park Nursing Home are wonderful. The care they have provided my dad has been nothing short of outstanding. The manner in which they have kept the family in touch with Dad throughout the pandemic has been exceptional and the advice and support provided has been marvellous. The staff are all so caring, we could not thank them enough. I would not hesitate in recommending Bryony Park Nursing Home to anyone.

In July 2020 we had to make the difficult decision for our lovely Dad to go into nursing care. For us it was an agonising decision to have to make, made all the more challenging by the pandemic. However, ALL the staff at Bryony Park were wonderful and looked after dad with tenderness, compassion and dignity throughout his 9 months with them. They went the ‘extra mile’ to make dad feel looked after and loved with special little touches (like the crocheted blanket for his knees and the birthday cake & candles). He received excellent nursing care, and became part of the Bryony ‘family’. The communication from the home to the family was excellent and we were kept clearly informed about every detail of his care. Being unable to visit Dad during the most difficult weeks of the pandemic was extremely upsetting and challenging, but the staff helped us to stay in contact with him using regular video calls. I would highly recommend Bryony Park - a lovely care home with a big heart. Thank you.

My husband spent the last 9 weeks of hios life in Bryony Park, where he was treated with love, dignity and a sense of humour. I could not have chosen a nicer nursing home. It is a huge decision entrusting your loved one with strangers, but my decision was rewarded with the love you feel on entering Bryony Park.

My father-in-law was a resident at Bryony Park for 18 months until he sadly passed away. As a family, we found the home to be first-class,e it is well designed, spacious and tastefully decorated. The facilities are very good. However, we found that what made the Bryony special were it's staff, the nursing, caring and domestic staff are genuinely caring, thoughtful and respectful. Care and support from all staff is excellent and the management team are equally responsive and caring. Activities are varied and well planned.

I and the family have been nothing short of delighted with the care which my mother has received since she arrived at Bryony Park last August. The wonderful care is always given with compassion, warmth and attention to detail always with a smile and reassuring professionalism not only to my mother but to all the family and most importantly to my father who visits daily. I don't think we could have made a better choice.

I would one-million per-cent recommend this lovely home.

My wife came into the home straight from hospital where she had been treated for a broken hip. Everyone in the home has been very kind and her treatment has been excellent. I couldn't have wished for a better place of her. Although she is not able to get involved in any of the activities because of her health, the place is full of stimulating activities provided by excellent staff. I couldn't ask for a better place for my wife to spend her last days.

This care home is perfect for my mother's needs - the care is second to none - always plenty of staff around. I'm updated on a daily basis on my mother's condition. The manager's door is always open for a chat. There's never any problem which gives me peace of mind knowing that my mother is safe and well looked after.

Everyone at this home from management, nurses, domestics, chefs. They are angels on earth, I would recommend it 1000%.

My Dad was well looked after at Bryony Park. The carers ensured he got plenty of fluids and food and spent time giving him these as it could take quite some time to feed him. He was very comfortable and they kept him safe until the end of his life. Thank you very much to the very caring and professional staff at Bryony Park.

This home is excellent. Staff are all very helpful and caring. I can go home and know she is well looked after.

From the first day dad came into Bryony Park he has been very happy and settled. The staff have all been excellent and very caring, giving him the care and attention he requires. Nothing is too much trouble and we are confident dad is being looked after properly. Family are always welcome and this is a very family orientated nursing home.

We are very pleased with the care Dad is receiving. Everyone is very friendly and caring. Dad seems very settled. All staff easy to talk to and answer any questions we may have.
