My 97 year-old mother urgently needed a residential nursing home and we were so lucky that a room became available. She spent ten days at Bryony Park where she received wonderful care. All of the staff were kind and thoughtful and they did everything they could to make her comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff took time to talk to family members to find out about our mother's life, her likes and dislikes. It was reassuring to know that when we left at the end of each day she was in such good hands. Thank you!

What can I say other than this home is exceptional, from the highest of standards to the care they all give their patients each and every day. It is second to none! Speaking from experience, having looked after my father only until recently, I never once doubted the commitment, care and dedication they all give to their residents and each other. Your loved one will be well looked after. Think of it as part of your extended family, because that is what it felt like to us. Feel safe in the knowledge that they will be well cared for and treated with the love, dignity and respect they deserve. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

After spending around 6 weeks in hospital my mum had become weaker and needed 24 hour care. We were given a lovely room for her at Bryony Park and she has settled in very well. Although she spends most of her time in bed, she engages well with all the staff. She tells me she is most comfortable and content .The room is always clean and tidy. She is now eating a liquid diet which is freshly made and enjoying it. All the staff are exceptional, professional and dedicated. This is the first home my mum has been in and I would definately recommend it to others.

Bryony Park has been an absolue blessing to find for my father. The manager and her team have provided him with a wonderfully safe, caring environment with outstanding nursing care for his significant injuries. He enjoys hus food & the interaction from staff although still reserved in his interaction outside of his room. I look forward to him receiving physio & perhaps the introduction of a wheelchair to assist with his social interaction. Many thanks to all at Bryony Park.

My wife has been a resident from 28th October 2024 following a most difficult 12 months in two hospitals. She settled almost immediately and her presentation was dramatically improved within days. She remains in good spirits and she had been treated with great affection by all staff. My son and I viewed many care facilities in South Tyneside and Sunderland over several weeks and on multiple occasions. Bryony Park was overwhelmingly chosen after just two visits. The staff are friendly, affectionate and above all, focused on providing care in a pleasant and friendly but safe environment.

Mum is part of the Bryony Family. She is always respected and her wishes are taken into account. The staff are amazing and listen to her needs and adapt to those accordingly. The team are and always will be a much needed part of our family. They make Mum's life so much easier in her transition into care and she would never had settled into her new environment if it wasn't for their continued support and guidance to her and our family. She feels such a valued and welcomed part of the Bryony Family, as well as we do.

My mother's stay at Bryony Park Nursing Home was very short but in the time that she was there, she was treated with genuine care and warmth, respect and dignity. As a result, her last days were peaceful and happy. The staff went out of their way to ensure that she had all that she needed - nothing was too much, no matter what was asked of them.

I am so grateful that my mom was able to have this time of peace, quiet and dignity and the words 'thank you' do not encompass all that I would like to say to the staff who have a hard job which they do with so much compassion and care. Thank you.
