Bryony Park Nursing Home

My mother has a very rare and complex neurological condition that has impacted enormously on her standard of life. She has endured so much with even the most difficult tasks becoming impossible. Mam has had carers at home and admittance to a care home - neither of which were caring or understanding. Bryony Park is so wonderfully different. They have shown understanding of her needs, a willingness to learn about the condition and are extremely attentive. Mam is more at peace and my family feel reassured by the treatment/care she's getting.

As I live in South Africa, unfortunately, my visits are for 4 times a year. I have seen an unbelievable improvement in my mother since my visit in February/March this year. Thank you so much, you really are a CARE home.

I cannot have asked for a better care home for my Uncle. The staff are so caring and helpful in whatever you ask them to do. They are always pleasant when you walk in, make the place a happy place to be.

My wife is a resident and has settled very well, finding the help and comfort she needs to suit her 24 hour care situation. The care staff are very attentive and respond to her requests for assistance without delay. They also provide a listening ear when she is down and without company. The nursing staff has been invaluable and she has immense faith and knows they do their utmost to make her comfortable. The kitchen provides meals to her taste and needs. My family and I feel she is in the best place possible and thank all concerned for their commitment.

Our mam spent the last month of her life at Bryony Park. She was totally against going into a nursing home. I looked around and Bryony Park was my first choice for our mam's nursing care as it has good reviews and excellent recommendations from friends. When Mam settled in she looked happier than she had in a long time. We believe this was because of the excellent care she received. The staff were efficient at looking after her needs but also caring and affectionate towards her, chatted, joked and spent time with her. She came to the home after 2 months in hospital looking somewhat unkempt and within a day looked beautiful and even had her nails manicured. We left Mam each day without a moment's worry, knowing her care was second to none. A week before she died we asked Mam if she wanted to go back to her own home. Her response, "No, I'm happy here. They take good care of me here and the girls are lovely". We couldn't ask for more.

I have been very confident in the care provided.

Gran has always been exceptionally well cared for. She always looks very smart and has her hair cut and styled. The home makes a huge effort to decorate the home in a style suitable and enjoyed by the residents. When Gran was able to get out of bed she was taken on day trips which looked great. The staff have always been very caring and kind.

I'll also mention the wonderful entertainment programme when she is well enough to participate, this made such a difference to her life. Many outings and social events.

Fantastic care home. Not only give great care to my mum but if any member of staff sees a visitor in distress they are always there to offer support. Always feel very welcome any time of the day or night I visit. I have no worries leaving my dear mum in the care of the manager and her care team.

Wonderful activities and care. Can't speak highly enough of the home.

Bryony Park have been looking after my mother for almost 12 months. The standard of care has been exemplary and far exceeds the care has been exemplary and far exceeds the care she received at her previous care home. The accommodation is meticulously clean. The staff are responsive at all times. They encourage carers to contribute to the overall well-being of inmates.

Bryony Park provides a clean, safe and caring environment for my mother and the other residents. All of the staff are both professional and approachable, and provide a high standard of care. The home is also decorated and maintained to a very high standard. My mother has been a resident here for a number of years and we have never had cause to regret our choice of care.

My mother has been a resident for over 6months and feels this is a second home. I feel I can trust my mother to them entirely and they keep me informed of all details. I feel this has removed the stress levels I used to have over her care.

I decided on this home as my mother in law resided here 2 years ago, the standard has remained high on a consistent basis and other than meal times I have access all day, at any time to suit family or work patterns.

Bryony Park Nursing Home is a very comforting, clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that helps new residents settle in quickly. The care that the resident's need is excellent from all the staff.

Since my wife became a resident, I certainly have no need to complain in any way with regard to her care. She certainly seems to be happy here and is treated with great respect by all concerned. Staff cannot do sufficient for my wife and I certainly do not need to worry about any care she receives here. The home is always clean and tidy and everyone concerned here do their tasks in a very professional manner. It is nice to know that my wife is in 'safe hands'.

My father has been a resident at Bryony Park for about 18 months and I've been very impressed with the standard of care he has received. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. Activities are organised on a regular basis for the residents to enjoy as well as trips outside in the minibus. The cleanliness of the building is exceptional and my father loves the food. Overall, I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this nursing home.
