Staff and management are extremely caring. Food not always hot. Kirkley Lodge is a happy upbeat place for loved ones to live. Visits are always made pleasant.

My mum has settled into her new home. It is a home from home. She gets on well with all staff and enjoys all activities and all meals. There is always something to do at Kirkley Lodge.

Mam has lived here just over a year, she seems very happy and settled. The staff are really good with mam and if we have a query or a problem they always do there best to deal with it.

My mother has been in this wonderful care home since December. She had to leave her own home because she had a stroke and needed 24-hour care. She has been and is being cared for by the wonderful staff beyond our expectations. Her every need is cared for. The carers are wonderful, they treat her like
she is their own mother/grandmother. The food and snacks are excellent. My mother has gone from size 14 to 18. At the first sign that my mother needs a doctor or water sample required, the staff act immediately. The activities are great. singers and musicians call regularly. They had a day at the seaside plus other outings, including Queens Gardens to name a few. Only criticism is that the place needs updating. The building looks a bit neglected.
